Inspire une confiance modérée
Le revêtement de cuirette semble tenir par la peau des fesses. Je m’attendais à mieux comme qualité

Not just for guitars
I use this product to replace a handle on a featherweight case, while the hardware is cheap and looks weak, the handle is great , was not planning on using the hardware anyway since I was retrofitting to the ones in the case , it worked great and I’m satisfied with the sturdiness of the handle itself

Worked well for 6 months
It was straightforward to replace on my case, but I think just not strong enough for a dreadnought. One of the axles holding the main handle broke. Looking for another stronger one now.

tasteful addition to any leather case
good feel and grip. slightly narrower than expected, but perfectly good as is. installation is straight forward, and will likely require drilling a hole. the provided screws were just long enough for 1/2" plywood in my application (guitar case). thicker or thinner would present a possible problem (new screws). I would definitely buy another one.

Decent handle, cheap mounting bosses
I bought this to mount on a heavy gauge steel folding sawhorse because it originally came with a steel strap handle that was uncomfortable to use (these horses weigh about 18lbs each). The handle itself is rather nice, very soft PU leather that lays smooth and seems well stitched, looks great. The mounting bosses, however, were a disappointment. They are a zinc casting (like most cabinet/drawer hardware castings) but they are pretty thin and not especially well made. The silver plating looks good. The threads were poorly tapped and had a ton of debris inside, so I had to clean those up and chase with a tap in order to get it mounted (they are 4mm x 0.7mm pitch and have approximately 8mm depth). The walls on the threads are quite thin so I hope they hold up to the stress. I used different hardware for my application but the countersunk flathead screws and thin mounting shims should be just fine for most uses if you don't require shorter screws. So it's a good nice looking handle and I think it'd be a great replacement for most instrument cases and briefcases, but for the cost if you don't need the nice fake leather wrap, you might be best served to buy some of the cheapies at half the cost, which are the same thing, or try to track down a version with better metal bosses if need be. In the hand, it's definitely more comfortable than basic plastic unwrapped versions out there. Good buy, costs a bit more than it should.
