Bought it last year in December 2021 and just recently my sweater I was wearing under the apron got really wet. I'm really disappointed. I believe it said it was waterproof.

This is apron #3 of 4 that I requested from vine just prior to Thanksgiving 2021. We typically take the family up to my wife's family restaurant every Thanksgiving for a larger than usual holiday get together. I usually end up cooking a Jack Daniels chicken in the kitchen alongside her uncle, aunt, and cousin's; who are chef's (and owners) for the restaurant. Given we lost Thanksgiving 2020 to the pandemic, I bought a bunch of aprons we could wear while cooking and thought they would get a laugh out of them. Unfortunately, Thanksgiving 2021 was also ruined by the pandemic so these have been put away until next year.As for this funny quote apron, this was intended to be worn by my wife's uncle while cooking for the dinner. He's ex-navy and appears "brood-ish" on the outside, but on the inside he has a very caring heart and warm personality. I figured this fit the hard persona he projects. He's a primary chef and owner for the family restaurant, so I wanted to get him something he could also wear during normal business hours. This apron makes a great gift and I highly recommend it.
