The remote may be a good buy but it did not work for me. The remote came in a plastic package with no instructions, assuming that it's supposed to work once you add the batteries. This product may not have worked for me maybe because it wasn't compatible to my television which I take the fault for. Quite disappointed that no manual came along with it because normally, universal remotes come with some sort of manual, especially if it's advertised as brand new.

I couldn't figure out what the model number was on my TV. My old remote just stopped working so I just made sure I was ordering what looked to be the exact same remote--I compared the pictures. After I ordered, I went back and read the reviews. One person said they never used the remote because it didn't come with directions. I was worried and when mine came it did not have programming directions. However, all I did was put batteries in and it worked right away. No programming necessary. It was a dream for a non-techy like me!

This remote worked right as soon as I inserted the batteries! Looks just like my original one and I am so happy with my purchase.

from the pictures it looked the most like the my tv's original Westinghouse remote but after not working and comparing it with the original it is less alike than the picture would have you believe.

This is a scam! Please do not purchase this product. It does not work! We purchased this remote in order to replace our old remote (missing battery door). We are still using the old remote since this product does not work.
