Moda 1/2 Pound Wool Scrap Bag Multi Color Rectangles

In total I received equivalent of a 30" square of soft various thickness wool. More than 50 pieces 5"x4" + a few smaller, all in various solid colours. If you don't need large pieces or specific colour, this makes a great stash. It was 25% of the cost of the larger 7" x 4.5" I usually buy.

I loved that there were 55 pieces and 20 beautiful colors. There were three of many of the colors, 5 of the black and only a couple colors had one piece. Most pieces were about 4" x 5" and only 15 pieces had selvage edges. some of the selvage edges were less than a centimeter. There is a diagonal we've on one side and the other side has no noticeable pattern. It feels like a medium wool shirt--not too thin or thick. A lovely bunch of wool for my wool appliqué projects.

Wasn't sure what to expect but it was a nice variety of colors and they are nice size squares of wool to use. I would recommend this but like with any scrap bag you really never know what will be in it until you get it but you can return it if you're not happy with it. SO, give it try!

I received 54 neatly cut rectangles about 4x5" with no selvages so every piece is completely usable. Five of the pieces are lighter/brighter colors and the rest a variety of solid dark colors with a few dark heathered pieces mixed in. I was hoping for more of the light colors shown in the photo, but I know that the colors included are a matter of chance and the overall quality is quite good so I'm sure I will use these eventually.

Didn’t know what to expect but this bag of wool scraps far exceeds my expectations. Very clean cut lighter weight wool fabrics. The batch I received is about half tiny houndstooth and half plain colors. They will work beautifully for my purposes making charms and sachets. You could also use them in piecework for quilts, they are large enough.The pieces I received were a uniform 5.25” x 4.25” and that’s a really useful size for me. I’m very happy with the purchase. Would absolutely buy again.

I was expecting what I saw advertised. Nice pastel colors.Not one pastel....all were dark colors.

I’d like to do some appliqués using wool felt and wool fabric. This bag of scraps is just what I want. I don’t need large pieces so this size in this bag is fine by me. I can see the pieces being used to creat miniature pillow, blanket, slippers, etc., too. One thing though, almost all the pieces have selvage side. It may limit the actual size you may be able to use (depends on what you want to make).

I purchased this because I am looking for wool in the pastel colors pictured. I received dark fall colors. Also, the pieces you can see inside the bag are cut perfectly however when I took it out there were random pieces in odd sizes. Bummed.
