Very good and hot enough. Maybe needs to be a little softer however I am very satisfied

I use a lot of Korean hot perpper paste and thought this would be similar. However, this isn't really spicy. It does taste great though, it's very flavourful.

Firstly , this being a pure pepper with no added rubbish is brilliant. It says in the headline "ideal for cooking" and it really is. Thats a fact.Usually i would chop and blend a few chillies, and use those as my starter for a sauce, its not a major hassle, but this is far easier. I take a few spons of this and use that for my base instead. Its easy to use and does make a really nice rich flavour sauce, so on that point id have given it 5 stars. The only reason i went for 4, is because its not hot at all really. It has a slight spice to it but not a hot spice. Regardless, the rich flavour does give it bonus points.Impressive.

So from the listing and the jar that this comes in I was expecting a spicy hot pepper paste. I do not have a high tolerance to heat, I can't eat spicy curries and I find Tabasco sauce spicy! With this I was able to eat it with a spoon it was that mild!! I wouldn't market this as hot at all, maybe mild though!!The smell is very similar to tomato puree which is used for cooking, perhaps you could use this as a substitute to the tomato puree for a slightly altered flavour profile within your food?I did find this delicious and it is very versatile. And with it being so mild I have even used it as a spread to eat on bread or in my sandwiches! You can use this in many different ways. If you're worried about spice, don't be put off by the jar it is very mild!Please let me know if this has been helpful for you! 🤍

This is definitely not what I would call a 'Hot Pepper' paste, but it does have a very nice rich flavour. I ate some directly out of the jar, and it didn't burn my tongue like some sauces/pastes. It's not even as strong as a simple Sriracha or an Asian Sweet Chili sauce, but it does have a longer lasting, deeper, richer kind of heat, so it gradually becomes a bit more intense in your mouth as you let it sit. What I really do like about it is the consistency - it's very thick! I would compare it to a Tandoori Paste for thickness. And, with the size of the jar, a heck of a lot of peppers obviously went into making this, so it's dense and rich. I used it as part of a Sweet and Sour chicken stir fry tonight and used about two teaspoons, and it gave the sauce a lovely rich red peppery texture and flavour.

I got this as I cook a lot of saucey dishes and sometimes like to add little spice .The paste is not overly spicy , has a tiny bit of it actually. That being said it is great product and peppers have more bit c than oranges (apparently ) hence good to have in your diet .I would buy again and I would recommend.I hope my review and photos were helpful.

This has quite a raw taste - I'd use it for stir-fries, mixing with mayo, or livening up stews. Big jar - takes up massed of room in my small fridge. But it's a not-bad condiment or adding to everyday cooking.

I ordered this primarily for husband who loves chillis and hot food.You receive large jar of what is a red paste and I first tried in pasta sauce, the sauce tasted lovely ( as usually does) but wasn’t much added heat.My husband tried in sandwich and says has lovely flavour and goes great with cold meats and does have slight heat but not what he was expect from 🌶 and Hot label on jar.It does have lovely flavour and it’s perfect for spreading on tortillas when making wraps and great for sandwiches but isn’t the hot spicy paste that was expecting
