Ergonomics on point, and 2k @ 27" on this monitor is great
I bought this monitor for the 2k display, the ergonomics, and the color accuracy (for my needs) and am not disappointed. Buying a product with 0 reviews and ratings made me a bit uncomfortable at first but I changed my mind within a few hours of using this monitor. The packaging is minimal which concerned me at first as the box was damaged on the screen side. Nevertheless it turned out the hard foam inside braced the impact and it turned out to be fine. Before we move on I'd like to state that 2k @ 27" is the absolute limit in terms of ppi (29" wide FHD is not worth the pixelated nightmare). Being picky, I think for 27", if your budget allows, go 4k. Especially text that gets tiny becomes unreadable at normal viewing distances with ugly pixelation.Pros:1. The monitor itself looks great on my desk as it has very thin bezels (still apparent but not chungus). 4/52. The build quality is surprisingly good. Solid metal stand, easy to assemble and doesn't feel sketchy and is well supported. The base is heavy enough. 5/53. The display has a matte texture and is good enough to diffuse reflections. 75Hz refresh, but good enough for 60fps gaming with toned down settings on my Asus ROG i5 9th 1050. 3/54. Ergonomics, every position you'd possibly want. 5/55. Plenty bright, plenty color accurate. Minimal to no backlight bleed 5/5Cons:1. No USB/USB C connectivity. This is not a deal breaker for me but would be a nice addition, nothing much to ask for at this price. 1x DP, 2x HDMI, 1x AUX2. Cable length is slightly disappointing, this becomes apparent when you try to pivot the screen. But they have provided 2 different plug ends so that's that.3. Cable management is a pain to deal with, but I'll take the adjustability over ease of use any day (short cables means, less slack for adjustment, plan it well and you'll be fine)4. Sketchy drivers caused the speakers to be unusable, I don't know if I'm missing something, although I don't need the monitor speakers, something to look out for.Other than that I think for someone with the following needs1. Programming : Text is super crisp and nice to have the added real estate, Pivot is just a bonus (hard to find in this price range in a 2k monitor)2. Content creations : Design, photo and video editing, print drafting and all the media related workflows that require some level of color accuracy (best in the price range).3. Media consumption : Movies and shows with 2k resolution playback (I personally use FHD playback) is a great experience.4. Casual gaming : Off the bat this is not a gaming focused monitor, but for casual gaming with a low end laptop is ok for me. Having a good spec machine you'll be comfortably gaming at over 75fps, no complaints. If that sounds someone like you then go for it.Note : I have no idea how the service and support stacks up long term, will update with details once available.

Decent 27inch monitor for the price
First time using a viewsonic monitor.Good screen brightness, 75hz display 1440p display.Height, tilt and swivel adjust present.Panel quality is ok-ish (have seen better with dell and lenovo monitors)Supports 2 hdmi ports.Has audio output jack which can be plugged into speakers (needed this for my setup)Does not support usb pass through which is missed.Overall, a good budget 27 inch monitor, gets the job done.

Fantastic Value IPS (2k Resolution, 32 INCH)
This is a value IPS panel (2K @32 INCHES) for the price around 22k to 24k. If you are looking for a decent monitor for productivity and normal gaming, this is a good option. The picture quality is extremely good as it is an IPS panel, though there is little bit of glow in the the edges, bottom right or left, Which again is manageable. The picture quality compensates for this shortcoming, after couple of minutes you completely forget that there is a glow, which is minimal, and only appear in extremely dark scenes. Go for it.

Defective straight out of the box
This review is for a Viewsonic monitor purchased on Amazon India, delivered on Aug 15th 2024, which has been a source of immense frustration:Defective Product: The monitor arrived with a glaring vertical line running down the screen, rendering it practically unusable for any serious work or entertainment. Quality control seems to be non-existent.Visible Defect/Damage: The vertical line is not a minor issue - it's a significant visual defect that severely impacts the monitor's functionality. This is unacceptable for a brand like ViewSonic.Amazon's Warranty Dodge: When contacted, Amazon conveniently washed their hands of responsibility, claiming it's a "service center replacement warranty" issue. The most appalling part? Amazon's customer service had the audacity to say, "You should have checked the return policy and conditions clearly before purchasing and now it's not our fault." This level of customer blame is unprecedented and completely unacceptable.Days of Frustration: It's been over two weeks since I reported this issue. No resolution, no refund, not even a proper response from either Amazon or Viewsonic. The lack of urgency in addressing a clearly defective product is appalling.False Advertising: The product description promised a fully functional monitor. What I received is far from that. To add insult to injury, the display quality is synonymous with my 8 year older cheaper Samsung monitor - there's no noticeable improvement whatsoever. This "upgrade" is nothing but a lateral move at best, and a downgrade considering the defect. A new tagline for Viewsonic - ""A Brand Never to be Trusted Again"".Waste of Time and Money: Not only am I out the cost of this defective monitor, but I've wasted countless hours trying to get this resolved. My time is valuable, even if Amazon and Viewsonic don't seem to think so.Trust Shattered: Any faith I had in Amazon India's ability to protect consumers has evaporated. Amazon's refusal to take responsibility for products sold on their platform is deeply concerning. To potential buyers: THINK TWICE before purchasing this monitor or any electronics, especially monitors, on Amazon India. The warranty situation is a maze designed to frustrate you into giving up.To Amazon India: Your hands-off approach to warranty issues is unacceptable. You can't just profit from sales and then abandon customers when problems arise. This experience has been nothing short of infuriating. Buyers beware - you're on your own if something goes wrong.Update 1As of 2nd September 2024, I'm still following up with Viewsonic customer service. They are currently waiting for their senior professionals to provide a resolution. Meanwhile, Amazon seems least bothered about addressing the issue.

Superb monitor for a great price.Give UHD a go if you are not a serious pro gamer.
A fantastic monitor and value for money.People like me who do some offical work, some movies, youtube etc is just fantastic. The build quality and the ease of use is all simply excellent.it is a great upgrade from a FHD monitor and in my opinion it cost too much to go to UHD as content is less and meant more for serious competetive pro gamers.for ordinary mortals like me its manna from heaven!!!
