Swarovski Optik Pocket Binocular Tyrol 8x20

Beware! Product is not as described in the picture. Swarovski Optiks has discontinued the hand sewn leather pouch. The Tyrol binoculars are still wrapped in fine leather; however the hand sewn pouch shown has been replaced with a nice although fairly standard dark leather "compact camera " style belt pouch. The Tyrol model was intended as a special gift. However, without the unique pouch this product was not what I wanted, especially for the price premium. The Tyrol model is approximately $200 more expensive than the exact same binocular (Swarovski Optiks Pocket Binocular; 8x20B-P) only without the unique pouch and leather wrapped binoculars. I have returned the product and Amazon has fully refunded my money,I contacted Swarovski Optiks regarding the issue. They confirmed that the Tyrol hand sewn pouch shown has been discontinued. However, they searched their US and Austrian inventory to see if this product could be found in inventory. It could not. They also said that they had contacted their authorized dealers notifying them of this change and requesting that the product picture be changed. Obviously without success because Amazon and just about every other dealer is still showing the hand sewn leather pouch in the product description.I rated the product as one star to highlight the misrepresentation of the product. However, the customer service response from both Amazon and Swarovski Optiks was very good and the Swarovski Pocket Binoculars are an awesome product; just be sure you get what you pay for,
