Colors are brilliant compared to the identical one I replaced with this one. Of course the other one I purchased about 12 years ago and has been up the full time. Glad I could still purchase a new one.

I really needed some curtains for the DR/kitchen window; it is 94" tall and 36" wide and looks out onto the front porch. Since we live in a cold climate, it often looks out over a front yard covered in snow; the white tab-top curtains over it looked too bland and drab, merely serviceable. Since my kitchen and DR are only separated by a counter-top bar, the decor runs together; old wooden and metal signs for eggs, vegetables, and fruit, baskets, and roosters, a real country-kitchen theme. But nowhere could I find curtains that were the right length or supported this theme, that weren't frilly, fussy, and lacy. The European Cafe' theme just seemed to fit. It adds so much color to the room, and when viewed from the porch is colorful yet homey and peaceful - just like I want my kitchen to feel. As an artist, it is important to me to have a colorful, interesting, yet not-too-busy home setting. These were not too heavy, but let in a softly muted and pleasing glow. It isn't just a curtain, it is real window art, and a nice focal point from both the porch outside and the rooms inside.

These curtains are simply the best. Nowhere can you find a printed themed curtain. I have looked and looked for a "wine pattern" set of curtains for my kitchen as I created a wine theme. Nothing with grapevines or anything. But when I found this product, it fit the bill just as nicely. They are just like photographed. They are light in weight so you get some sun shining through if you want - although I have a solar screen behind them in a neutral color living in Florida... but they are so adorable and so well printed and detailed. You must get a pair of these! It creates a European scene like you are there when they are closed, and, even brought back with the curtain tieback hardware they look great during the day. Will cherish these.

This picture was taken at 2pm on a hazy day. As you can see, the colors and scene are really pretty. Love these draperies so much. So much better than looking at one color drapes! They're very well made, not wrinkled at all, and I hung them straight from the package. Very happy with my purchase!Update:. So beautiful I pitched 2 more sets and look perfect in my living room!

These are beautiful and I love them! What I don't like is that they didn't have a pocket at the top so that I could insert the rod in and it would have a slightly ruffled appearance above the rod. However, had I looked closely at the photo I would have seen that the curtains drape down straight from the top of the rod. There are also no tie backs. Because I split the one pair and used one panel on one window the other on the window beside it, I'd wished it had tie backs. Because of no tie backs and how it looked straight and plain on the tops, I added a wine colored valance and made the tie backs with wine colored fabric. I get lots of compliments now.

Hard to be more pleased with what I received, there really is not much to quibble about.It's true the accents are more purple than red, especially when viewed at night with indoor light. With sunlight illuminating them from the rear however, they do take on a more reddish hue.No problems on length or alignment of the panels -- something I was given to worrying about when reading experiences of others.Quality is just what I expected, they are thick enough to be durable and to sufficiently filter light to provide some privacy -- but a sheer curtain behind them or window blinds will really be needed for complete privacy.I hung mine highest to the ceiling in front of a bedroom window under which my bed sits for maximum effect -- this does mean that there is a difference of illumination in the daytime -- with the top half looking somewhat like a storm clearing in the late afternoon or early morning.The colors do wash out somewhat if you do not have blinds or a sheer curtain behind them in the daytime -- but with something additional to filter the light the effect is rather one of illumination -- very nice indeed.The type of indoor lighting you have at night will modify the hues somewhat, but I don't see this as a problem for anyone, that's just a natural thing with all colors.It's hard to see how anyone could be disappointed with the purchase, barring some manufacturing defect or quality control issue.

I didn't see any other reviewers mentioning this, so maybe mine was a rare occurance. But each panel is only 32 inches wide, so they do not fit. I measured for 35 inches before ordering.As other reviewers have stated, from a distance it looks ok, but up close is another matter- even if they were the correct width. For the price, this alone would not be a deal breaker. The size is the issue with me.

It looks like an actual painting on my window, seriously! I had to rig this with command hooks on my wall and even then it still looks great. If you use it on a rod you'll not only look better than mine, but it will hang better. Best part is the light. When it's sunny, it lights up the painting, but it is still dense enough to block out light. Put these over blocked out blinds (meaning closed) and no light will come in. Turn open your blinds and a bit of light will come in. So if you want them to block out light, they will do an adequate job, while at the same time adding to the ambiance of your room.
