Great Wax
Honestly, things have gotten expensive lately, and the original company I would get my wax from charges more now on the shipping price; so many of Us find other options, and I found this company, and their wax has been fantastic for my candle mason jars. Thank you very much.

I've been using Cargill C-3 wax for 15 years and I can tell that this is not Cargill C-3.
I've been using Cargill C-3 wax for 15 years and I can tell that this is not Cargill C-3. This wax behaves like Golden Wax 464 with little pinholes throughout the finished candle. You can see mottled wax while cooling that looks like cottage cheese. In the end, I can fix it and make a good product but not like C-3.

Contaminated with large, and small, pieces of debris
I was absolutely appalled to find a cut zip tie inside of one of the bags of wax. This resulted in a a waste for the entire 30 lbs ($100+ worth of wax) because I had already dumped the first two bags into the wax melter (one I use regularly, so I know the debris is from the bags of wax -- I always clean it meticulously between batches). I waited for the first two bags to melt down a bit before I went to dump the third into it. However, when I opened the third bag, I noticed there was this cut open zip tie! I immediately freaked out, went to peek into the melter, and realized there were small pieces of debris or sediment in the bottom that had remained after the wax melted and could only be seen after all of the wax became liquid and the bottom became visible. Thus, the entire batch was ruined. The worst quality control I've ever encountered. I have purchased this brand of wax several times from Amazon. This is the first time this has happened. I have no idea of knowing whether it's Virginia Candle Company or Naturewax responsible for this lapse in quality.
