The Europeans continue to destroy everyone's culture. The only reason they're on top in the U.S because of fear and T.V as a distraction and debt to keep us occupied.

This book is written very well. It offers a comprehensive summary of African American History in America. The information shared in this book informs the reader about those events that helped shape America as a nation of inclusion..

We are using this book in our book club and each month, we learn something new about an African American hero. I just wish more kids were interested in their history. And, its a great way to improve your reading skills.

I love anything by Mr.Gates. He's books are very insightful. I always learn more about my heritage just by reading one of his books. I learn more from him then I ever did in school.
