Looks great, but burned out after 9 months. Only used at night on a front porch light.

I was so happy I read in some of the remarks that you had to turn your light on and off for three times to get this to change mode to flicker. At first I thought it was broken and was going to return it. Once I figured this out I do like it.

I can't speak to the longevity of this bulb or its energy efficiency, as I only used it for a couple of weeks and then moved it to the Halloween bin in the garage, but it did the trick for Halloween. If you're not too near it, the flame effect isn't bad. But up close, it's not that effective. It worked well enough, though. And I'm perfectly happy with it.

We bought these for our front lights for Halloween. They looked great. One of the light flames would go upside down some nights and right side up other nights. Not a big deal, but it bugged my husband! The rest of the lights worked fine. We removed them and plan to use them again for Halloween next year.

I bought both orange and purple. Purple light doesn't look like flames at all and I'm returning them. Orange is much closer to my expectation and is a keeper. Definitely make sure to get the 6 watt version or you'll be disappointed in the brightness. 6w is perfect. Easy to switch between modes. The review asks about longevity and energy efficiency.. HA... how is anyone to know that with a brand-new product?Anyway, I recommend the orange 6watt version.

The bulbs are ok, they do have a flame like look when on but the brightness is very low. I use them for bedroom ambience and they barely give off enough light to see the room. I would imagine outside in open area they would not be great.People complain about the look when they run, light of the bulb looks like flame but the bulb does not. It works u Der frosted shades where you can't see the bulb directly. If you expect to put it in clear glass it will looks like a flickering white tube.If you are using under a shade or frosted glass and only need ambient light they work perfectly.

And gravity mode is what I needed. It cycles through 3 modes, not 4.

I thought these would look great as side lights @ all the entrances to the house for Christmas along with the decorations but they don't throw off a lot of light..they just glow and look like fire in the lamps pretty but if UR looking for LIGHT I wouldn't spend the money. I purchased 8 and 1 was defective on purchase so I returned it.

Looks good. Not very bright, but does look a lot like a flickering flame. Too expensive for what you get but they are pretty nice.

Après quelque minutes. L'ampoule ne fait plis l'effet de flamme est reste qu'avec la lumière orangé.

Doesn’t look like a flame at all. Would request a refund if I had the time.
