The plot's pace is somewhat slow but the ending is so wonderfully set.I loved the ending. I'd recommend this book to anyone and everyone who is into fantasy thriller. One has to read the prequel to this book to unravel what is happening in this one. Once again, Sarah J. Very suspense filled narrative. Too many characters but as you progress you get familiar with the characters. Can’t wait for the next book in this series release.

This book like the first one in the series really had me absorbed and anticipated. It's a Great book.

I can’t believe I read this book just in 7 days .When I first saw the size of book , I was like how I am gonna reads book in a month. Well O did just in 7 days . Let’s talk about book . Writer knows how to hooked her audience on every page . I think once read few pages then you will be like what gonna happen now.I love this book Byrce and Danika’s friendship though it was wired . She doesn’t know anything about her best friends life yet she still loved her.To sum up this book is a perfect combo of twist , turns, challenges, love, friendship.I am curious to know what will happen in next book . Can’t wait to read another part hopefully that comes out soon ..

The book delivered everything that was expected from it.It takes place after the demon attack in lunathion and all that chemistry between Bryce and Hunt at last comes to fruition 😂 the first half of the book can seem a little slow paced but the Ending is worth it and in a typical Sarah style ends with a mindboggling cliff hanger.Spoiler: looking forward to the next Acotar book as well now.

The book carries on from the first one in the series. It builds up on the relationship between Bryce and Hunt, interspersed with some more dangerous elements which will test them even further. The ending left me curious for the next book.

I would recommend this series to any reader and would feel confident that it would not disappoint.I was so attached to all the characters, and the plot blew my mind. 5 starts doesn’t do it justice.

The second of Crescent City Series, House of Sky and Breath by Sarah J. Maas certainly got intense and the ending of the book, unfinished, kept me wanting for more! The opening of the book with Sofie Renast was certainly interesting though I expected a different outcome for her. How Sofie got intertwined into the original story feels somewhat neat and seamless and actual continuation of the first book, House of Earth and Blood.There is definitely more depth added to the characters of Bryce, Hunt, Ruhn, Ithan, Tharian and Hypaxia. Agent Daybright kept me guessing until ruling out couple of other choices. It was an interesting reveal to me. Another interesting reveal was that of Baxian. Didn’t see things coming as they are with Celestina or what Tharian chose at the end. Addition of Ariadne and three fire sprite Malana, Rithi and Sasa was a nice touch. Also, interesting is the intro of Sigrid. Waiting to see how all of these character contribute the final plot and how it’s all going to end.Sarah J. Maas sure knows who to tell a story wonderfully and definitely a bold writer and I like her for that. Plot is at a very interesting point and can’t wait to finished the last and final part of the series, House of Flame and Shadow to know what happens. Looking forward to finish it soon. 🙂Also, it’s great having kindle edition with the audio book. Enjoyed the narration by Elizabeth Evans with her adept narration for all the characters. The pace felt a bit slow and it was perfect to listen at the speed of 1.2x.

This book takes place a few months after the end of House of Earth and Blood. Bryce is trying to adapt to her new reality as the Princess of Fae, while also trying to work things out with Hunt to build a healthy and serious relationship. Hunt is enjoying his newfound freedom and Ruhn is building back the trust between his sister and him. Everything is fine and rather normal until they get sucked into a rescue mission involving some rebels and ruthless faes that will not hesitate to destroy them all should their affiliation with rebels be revealed.The plot is good, but I didn’t find it as good as in the first book. It is full of unexpected twists and shocking revelations though, and the pace is engaging. My heart was pounding and I had to refrain from skimming parts of the book because I was so anxious to know what would happen, but at the same time, I wanted to take my time and savor this book... Conflicted emotions and a few heart attacks apart though, it is a great book and many details from the first book have a big significance in this book, and I like that there was a deeper connection between the books than simply having the same set of characters embarking on a new adventure.

The media could not be loaded.  O livro é perfeito, a jacket tem a textura aveludada e dentro do livro tem uma ilustração da capa. O livro sem a jacket é lindo. Estava com medo de chegar amassado mas veio apenas com um pequeno amassadinho em cima e o miolo um pouco sujo mas nada que me incomode. As páginas são um pouco mais ásperas e grossas que a edição brasileira pela Galera Record mas isso não incomodou. Acho que essa é a edição dos Estados Unidos mas não tenho certeza. A única coisa que me incomodou um pouco foi o modo como as páginas ficam quando o livro é aberto, e parece que o livro é frágil pois sempre que eu pego ele sem a jacket, a madeira (ou seja lá do que a capa é feita) fica rangendo e isso incomoda um pouco. Tirando essas coisas, amei e não me arrependo de ter comprado.

Love how other characters are weaved in, love the twists that keep you guessing...just love the whole series. Highly recommend.
