just what I needed

As expected.
Have been using them daily for the last several months. They serve their purpose as they should. If a rubber grip doesn’t matter to you, this is a good option as they are stippled/texturized at the handle.

Worked as expected
These seem well made. I just needed them for a minor adjustment on my garage door and they served their purpose.

Definitely NOT 7/16”, 1/2” is true, but good quality
These are not as described. They are a solid 1/2”, not 7/16”. For me this is an issue but for many it will not matter. The quality appears good and the price is reasonable. Just do not count on the smaller size listed.

Just right for my job
First time aligning a garage door, after watching some videos, and these were invaluable to the task. Especially after I messed something up and had to entirely wind both springs back to 8ft door height specs. I don't know that I'll ever use them again but they were cheap enough to come through the one time, ok two times because of my mistake, that I needed them.

Right Product - Wrong Size
I ordered a set of the 7/16" winding bars so I could adjust the balance of my garage door. Being an older garage door it required the smaller 7/16" size instead of what seems to be the more common 1/2" size that most vendors are selling. There were very few listed as 7/16" so I was glad to order these. Not only did they come a day later than stated they would arrive (Amazon sent them by UPS instead of their own truck) but when I tried them out they wouldn't fit in the torsion spring bracket holes. They were too big. I measured them with my digital calipers and they were sized at 15/32". That is half way in between 7/16" and 1/2". They would have worked in a 1/2" sized bracket but they were not going into my 7/16" holes. Just more of that lack of quality control by the Chinese manufacturer I guess. I use to feel bad about sending back stuff that didn't cost very much, but not so much any more, so it is going back since I can't use them. I'll see if the regular steel rods I ordered are closer to 7/16". I did give one start because they shipped them in a box and didn't get lost along the way. That's the only star they deserve.

Practico
Muy buen producto para su función pero podrían ser mas largas para mayor palanca y facilitar ajuste de resortes.
