Worked for holding my lights on my metal roof. Pretty strong magnets, the Oklahoma wind hasn’t moved one yet. Only problem I’ve had is if you get ice on your metal roof it can slide off in large pieces and hit the lights and knock some, but not all, off. Not a big concern in Oklahoma but maybe something to think about for you folks up north. Overall they’re a good product that works well and solves the problem of how to put lights on a metal roof, or a metal building. And yes they’re strong enough to hold them upside down if you wanted to do that.

This picture was taken after about 3 straight days of 30 mph winds, with higher gusts. The lights still look perfect! I am used to each light hanging down and banging in the wind. Not anymore! These were very easy to install and look great. I highly recommend them!

We are using these for the first time this year on our C9 ceramic lights. We are really excited about how easy this made hanging our lights on our metal roof. If you use C9 style lights and have a metal roof these are a must. We had one clip where the plastic was broken and one where the magnet had fallen out (both of which were fixable without returning). We hung four 25 foot strands and it took 15 minutes at the most once we had the clips on the lights.

Worked great but only works with lights with two wires and a flat bottom. Does not work with three wire lights.

First time we have had lights on the house since putting a metal roof on 2 years ago. Bought a package of 100 to see if they really held the lights on. Just to tell you how good they worked, placed another order for 3 more packages of 100 just days later to put more lights up on the house. LOVE,LOVE, LOVE, not Christmas without lights!

Worked flawlessly to attach lights to a truck for a Christmas parade float. Easy to attach and easy to remove without causing damage to the paint job.
