What is the working distance for focus between the lenses and the object being looked at?

I use mine with my normal glasses for diamond painting and distance is about 9 inches

One light has started to flicker - they are fully charged. Is it possible to get new lights for it, please, because the glasses themselves are good?

Yes you can, slight heavy if wearing for a long time but you wouldn't be wearing them that long anyway.
