The media could not be loaded.  I've seen this advertised for awhile and finally having got a cat I decided to buy one. Least to say I am not disappointed, she loves it. It makes a sound like a zipper being pulled up and down and was worried it would scare the cat because she's nervous but she is fine. Kicking, biting and rubbing herself on it. It's very entertaining to watch. I've got no complaints.

Read the reviews, thought it would be interesting for my cats, product arrived quickly, charged it up full of great expectations. It flapped a few times, not enough to get the cats attention and that was it, it stopped. You have to keep moving it to get it to flap long enough to draw attention to it. Cats are totally disinterested despite there being catnip inside.

We’ve had it for about six weeks and it’s working great. The cat was scared of it at first but now plays with it a lot! Much more often than she uses any of our other cat toys that are supposed to be for self-directed play. We have to charge it frequently because she wrestles it for long periods at a time. Charging the built-in battery via USB is very convenient. Hopefully it won’t wear out any time soon. The mechanism seems quite durable but I try not to throw it around just in case. The only downside is that the motor is quite loud, and when it’s flopping on a hard surface you can hear sometimes hear the banging through walls and ceilings (I wonder what the neighbours think it is!)

This cat toy which you charge via a usb has a motor in the middle of a supposedly floppy material fish. The idea is the fish moves around driven by the internal motor and a cat can leap on it; bite and kick it and roll around with it as it would with real prey. Unfortunately, the padding of this toy is extremely thin; surprisingly, considering what it is designed for. The hard plastic motor in the middle of the toy, which stays inside to power it, pushes up against the thin material and I feel this would bruise a cat excitedly playing with this toy. It could also damage a cat’s teeth as the padding is just nowhere near sufficient to prevent this in my opinion if the cat bites against the thinly covered, large, hard, plastic motor taking up a lot of the internal space. This toy needs redesigning again in my opinion with 3 times more padding to make it suitable for me to allow my cat to play with. Of course other buyers may disagree. See for yourself snd make your own decision if this is ok for your pet.

Now the nights are drawing in I wanted to replenish my cat's toys to encourage inside play and to keep him occupied. I purchased this after seeing the videos and the reviews, I have a ragdoll who is insanely laid back so in all honesty I wasn't expecting much of a reaction BUT he LOVES this toy and has great fun hunting it and setting off, hiding, attacking and generally throwing it around. I love the USB recharge functionality so I can easily charge the fish back up - Great product! Happy cat means happy owner!

It's so much bigger than I expected!My poor cat approached with great trepidation when I charged it up, and I swear he didn't touch the ground when it moved as he legged it out the door! He's not the bravest of little boys and he's not keen on this massive fish

Nice high quality soft toy that actually looks pretty real. Unfortunately my cat was petrified of the movement and Ran away every time it started up. Took the motor/mechanical part out of it & no wonder he is scared!! The actual part that flops and makes it move does so very vigoursly. The toy didn't go to waste as I filled it with cat nip. May be suited to a young kitten that doesn't jump at his own sneezes!!
