Keeper(07512) Koastal 12' x 1-1/2" Lashing Strap with Protective Cover, (Pack of 2)

Je cherchais de bonnes courroies pour attacher mon canot ou mon kayak sur le toit de l'auto et arrêter d'avoir peur de les perdre sur la route; j'ai définitivement trouvé ce que je cherchais, je suis même impressionné par la qualité et la solidité.La couleur des courroies (noir au centre et bleu sur les rebords) est une belle surprise, je m'attendais à ce qu'elles soient toutes noires.

I added two fuel can mounts to the rear rack on my 2003 Jeep Wrangler, the lashing straps that came with it were thin crap with funky buckles that didn't stay tight, I wanted some strong hefty straps for off road use, ones that would cinch down tight, these Keeper straps fit the bill and worked great, they are 1.50 inch wide where most were only 1 inch wide, the locking mechanisms are of good quality and the anti scratch pads keep the latches from scratching up my fuel and water cans. Plus they were actually less money than a lot of crappy ones. Nice to see something made thats still of good quality. They are made in china but to Keepers specifications.

These have worked perfectly well for canoe on roof of car/van. Protection around the cam is great.No hesitation recommending these.

Just got these in the mail. The Keeper packaging they come in says the straps are 1.25" wide (as you can see in the picture) but these are actually 1.5" wide, which is much better. (You might want to update your packaging, Keeper). It's a well made product and 1.5" is a great size for a strap & cam buckle and much stronger than all the surf rack companies. They all only offer straps & cam buckles that are 1" wide. This is a great strap for surfboards at a great price. Would also be super strong for tying down luggage and cargo.

Very nice straps at less than half the cost of my Rhinos, also wider and stronger. My only criticism would be the neoprene cam tender; it is a little too small so over time it will fail through wear even with extra special care in threading the strap through that assembly.
