Have used it since 2021 and it's still cutting.
I purchased this blade in 2021 and am still using it. I use it on a metal cutting chop saw so it's running at an appropriate RPM. Until recently, I would use this on occasion to cut steel for various projects, primarily cutting 1" and larger thin wall steel tubing. Recently, I started an ambitious project that involves 1/8" to 1/2" thick flat stock and 1/8" to 3/16" wall square tubing from 2" to 2 1/2". I also cut a 2" solid round bar.... that one made me a bit nervous, but it did it and is still cutting cleanly. I'm impressed with how this blade has held up and would buy it again. I plan on building steel railing for a deck project next and expect that this blade will used on that project as well. On the right saw, letting the blade to the work, it should last for many projects.

high quality Japanese blade
Almost no sparks cutting mild steel pipe and flat. After cutting a 2" steel pipe, a 1" galvanized steel pipe and 4 -2" X 1/8" flat steel at proper speed, no coolant, the blade was cool to the touch. Amazing. I'm using it in my Harbor freight 15" cutoff saw instead of the fiber cut-off wheels. It has a good speed clamp to keep work secure. So with this blade there is no discernible vibration and much less noise than a fiber wheel. Nice flat, straight cuts. much better than a fiber cut-off wheel for speed and accuracy. 1" arbor hole in blade, but comes with a washer to fit a smaller arbor. I didn't measure it since I didn't need it. Highly recommended over Diablo steel blades for lack of heat and keeping sharp and almost no sparks. Pay the small increase in price over Diablo. It is well worth it. You may incur a return shipping charge, but you won't be returning it for lack of quality.

What a difference! Master of stainless!
I have been very pleased with the original blue mild steel blade that came with my Evolution saw. That was until I tried sawing 1/4" thick stainless steel plate. The blade vibrated and I couldn't help but think I was damaging my mild steel blade making those cuts. Aside from that, the cuts took a longer time to make and during the longer cutting time developed some heat in the process.I dragged my feet for a long time because buying the stainless steel blade was so expensive. But now that I have it, I wish I didn't wait. This blade cuts through stainless like the mild steel blade cuts through... mild steel. (duh!)It seems obvious when I write it out like that, but wow what a difference. If you are on the fence like I was, do yourself a favor and just pull the trigger. The right tool for the job is never the wrong decision and easily cutting through tough material is oddly satisfying. Now I just need to find a drill bit set that works as well as this saw blade. :)

Great for 304 stainless
This blade has worked perfectly for my 304ss handrail and know it is not suitable for an abrasive saw or a wood saw. For a low rpm cold cut saw as this blade was intended for it works fantastic (evolution or wen cold cut) Made 30+ cuts and it’s still cutting as good as the first cut. I highly recommend this blade for the proper saw.

No burn, no burr, No Problems
Five stars but nobody reads five star reviews. I use it to make clean, square, straight cuts on a chop saw. These are tubular steel Balusters. It performed magnificently. I cut 110 Tubular balusters and the last cut was as good as the first. No burn, no burr, No Problems. Just a good clean cut . Best Ferrous cutting blade for the price on Amazon.

Cuts like butter.... one time
I've been fabricating for almost 20 years. I'm no expert but I've gone through my share of tools and techniques to ensure the longevity of my tools. I've learned to appreciate buying the proper tool for the job over the years. So when I have a project that's all 304 stainless steel 16 gauge tubing, I decide to buy a dedicated stainless cutting blade.enter the evolution company. The first cut was smooth as butter. I put my hand weight on the saw and let the blade do the work. I don't force it, I don't try and rush it. It cuts at the rate that it wants to cut. The first cut was fine and straight. The second cut was fine but a little uneven so when I decide to inspect the blade teeth I find that some of the carbide tips have already broken off. This was only two cuts! For the cost of this blade this is completely unsatisfactory.I started a tally on the blue masking tape on the saw and I will report back when the blade is completely useless but at this rate I think it's going to be a problem after about 15 to 20 cuts.EDIT NOV 1, 2024I'm 16 cuts in and I don't see myself using this blade anymore. The last four or five cuts have been pretty bad. still cutting 16 gauge tubing it takes me a good 5 to 10 seconds to even begin to get through the top of the tube, then it moves relatively smoothly through the exposed edges down the sides until it hits the bottom of the tube where now I am having to put a GOOD amount of force on the blade to cut through the bottom. This is completely unsatisfactory and I will not be buying this blade again. I'm basically paying $10 per cut at this rate and then it's expended.

Evolution is the brand for the professional welder.
You can't beat the Evolution name. It's by far the best cold cut saw I have ever used. I absolutely love my Evolution Saw. I'll never go back to chop saws again.
