Well packaged, appears durable and solid, easy to adjust height. FULLY ASSEMBLED IS A HUGE PLUS.
Brabantia Comfort Ironing Board with Left/Right Adjustable Steam Iron Rest | Medium (Size B) | Fairtrade Ecru Cover | Adjustable Height (27-38"), Easy Fold, Anti-Collapse Lock, Non-Slip Feet. I paid $93. for this iron board, made in Latvia. It's not on Prime but I did get free delivery. It came wrapped in plastic and in a box. it IS FULLY ASSEMBLED. It's got adjustable height, easy thing to fold up the board and it's not too heavy. but heavy enough to be sturdy. the quality is solid. The size is perfect for ironing, even for a little sewing. It's a little narrower than the old ones that used to be made but it's fine. I hope its durable like the old ironing boards used to be. I got rid of my old one and sorry I did but this appears to be an very goodreplacement. There is not much online that delivers the product as promised and this does.

Best ironing board ever
I foolishly got rid of an old ironing board my mom gave me. It was creaky but “sturdy af” as the kids say. It was truly the most stable thing in my life. I changed a baby on that thing once with out a problem. Then I mistakenly thought I wanted something newer lighter and less creaky. I bought the $30 Homez you probably saw in the search results for “ironing board” and I am here to tell you: don’t do it, get this instead. That Homez ironing board is light but flimsy af. Ironing on it felt like it would topple over. I was using it as my work from home desk (something I could do with the old creaky one) and the leg snapped when I got a little too into typing an angry email. Thankfully that led me to this wonderful Brabantia ironing board. It’s sturdy. It won’t tip over if a draft comes in. Ironing on this feels really great and you don’t feel like you have to hold back. You can really get in there and iron those shirt collars you want too look spiffy. It is not creaky and folds nicely for easy storage. Also makes a wonderful work from home desk in a pinch, when the wife and kids are being too loud and you have to hideaway in the laundry room to get work done.

Excellent Quality and Fairly Priced.
The design of this ironing board was well thought-out. Although it is a tad heavy when lifting it off the back of a door, and hanging it back up, this item gives me what I want in an ironing board. It appears to be well-made, although only time will tell. The board is easy to open and close, and I especially like the locking mechanism that prevents the bottom from opening when the board is stored behind a door (as mine is). The tip of the legs are covered with rubber making the board slide proof on tile and wood floors. The attached holder at the wide end of the board holds an iron nicely, and also accommodates a few hangers. The pad is thick enough, and I liked being able to buy it in a neutral color. At first glance this board seems expensive, but it is not given its overall quality and functionality. I highly recommend it.

If you need an Ironing board this is the one to get.
I read ALL the reviews both pro and con on the Brabantia Ironing Board. Many were very helpful. Some of the reviews complained about the packaging....some raved about it....my experience was...the board came with a clear shrink wrap completely sealing the board, not in a cardboard box, only heavy duty plastic...the board was undamaged. The hot iron rest is a new experience and I like it. I have had built in ironing boards for more than 40 years. My last move forced me to hurry out to buy an ironing board...big mistake, I disliked it. It was too light weight, the cover wasn't secured and kept coming off the board when I moved fabric...and sitting on a bare wood floor the whole board would move as I pulled fabric on or off of it....happy to say I got rid of THAT board and the Brabantia Size B is a dream replacement. It is wider than the cheap board and with the hot iron feature gives even more space when ironing table cloths. The Brabantia feels like the quality board it is...the cover stays put...the board doesn't slide on the wood floor and it isn't so heavy that folding up and putting away after each use is no problem...after seeing reviews about the patterned covers I decided to get the Ecru and am pleased with it. The cost in the $70 dollar range was fair for the quality, in my opinion.

Replacement item has no faults
The first order was a disappointment, it looked as if I was got an ironing board that someone else returned. The packaging was flimsy, the plastic wrap ripped, there was a tear in the cover, and the metal mesh had a depression in it that made the ironing surface uneven. I am almost sure I read a review that described exactly the same welding issue. I did receive a replacement ironing board in two days, although not without going through the hassle of returning the first one. I understand now why the reviews are so extreme, people either love or hate this product depending on what they get. The second ironing board seems perfect, it has no defects and it is stable.

Fantastic
Your search is over. This thing is robust, has zero unnecessary parts, the board is flat with no undulations, the foam cover is just right, the dimensions are perfect. I replaced a rowenta compact with this and absolutely do not look back. Been ironing seriously for years.. including suits. You don't need anything else period.

Costs a bit, but a solid product
Does it make ironing a joy? No - I still hate ironing and a no ironing board will change that. But... it is a solidly built product and makes ironing slightly less annoying. The Good: - Collapses and expands easily without making that annoying metal-on-metal scraping noise. - The locking mechanism is solid and you can't inadvertently collapse it - Stays put and does't wobble easily - Nice thick ironing pad makes wrinkle removal easier than the paper thin covers that come on some cheap boards The Meh - Bigger than other ironing boards. This might be nice for curtains, dresses, etc but if you're just ironing shirts the size isn't needed and takes up more space in the closet. - Steam Iron Rest takes up space. Again, for some this may be a feature, but I've never found the rest to be particularly useful (I just set the iron upright on the board) - Expensive - but I guess you get what you pay for. The bottom line: Probably worth it if you have the extra cash lying around, but if it's going to cut into beer money stick with the beer.

Ottimo prodotto
