Up front and most importantly: this is not a case for drop damage - this is a case to prevent general wear and tear on your device and maintain the original shape profile. I’ve been searching for a decent case for my 13PM for the better portion of a year. Apple’s leather cases were of subpar quality for this phone’s generation, but I loved the slim factor and the hand feel. I actually went case-free for a long time because I couldn’t stand how cheap bulky protective cases feel. Fast forward to this case. After picking up general wear and tear on my iPhone (not drop damage, just table sliding and pocket bumps), I decided to give this case a shot. It’s smooth finish and obviously feels like plastic, but it doesn’t feel gross in the hand and it is acceptable for someone like me who hates cases. The case has no grip - it is about as slick as the iPhone’s bare surface. Your phone will slip out of your pocket with this case if you’re careless. Again, this isn’t a drop protection case. MagSafe still works with the case, however the magnet strength is severely impeded - if you use a lot of magnet accessories this is not your case. Looks-wise the case doesn’t pick up fingerprints and is the black color is similar to that of what the 13PM’s leather case was. I’m satisfied with it. If you’re looking for a wear-and-tear case that’s similar in profile to the original Apple cases on an older legacy model this is the one to get. The texture is different, but the overall hand feel is what I remember when I first bought the phone. Now people will leave me alone about not having a case on my phone.

Just a disclaimer: This clear case offers light protection for everyday use around the office, car, or home. It’s slim and keeps your phone looking free of dents and scratches, but don’t expect it to withstand face-down drops or impacts on concrete or gravel. I would not recommended for high-risk environments like construction, outdoor work, or other settings where a phone will absolutely be dealing with many accidental drops. Cons: -It slides very easily on flat surfaces and can’t be propped up very well. -There is a significant gap around the corners to make installing and removing the case easier. This unfortunately means a lot of space for dust to enter. These gaps also appear around the buttons and plateau area. Unfortunately these gaps are dust magnets which show (and can even damage the aluminum if you live in gritty areas). -There is some colored iridescence in certain lighting which makes the case look cheap and does fluoresce blue in direct or indirect sunlight. Pros: -It’s a nice slick look that is actually clear throughout. You can still get acceptable protection while maintaining a good amount of the original look from your phone. Just make sure to keep the phone and case dust free like when installing a screen protector. -The plateau lip prevents wobbles and provides plenty of spacing on flat surfaces. The display lip also has plenty of clearance. No worries about getting the cameras or display scratched on flat surfaces. -The regular buttons are covered, but only attached by one side and are not much harder to push. The camera control is fully exposed (which I prefer). -If you are not too worried about hard drops the exposed plateau allows for better thermals. -It still works just fine with regular wireless charging or MagSafe puck without a magnet array. (but keep in mind the magnetic strength is much weaker). Overall a decent fully transparent case for my 17 Pro. Will see how it holds up with scratches yellowing and will update if necessary.

Bought a new iPhone 17 Pro and needed a new cover. One thing I value highly is being able to carry my phone in my pocket - the front pocket - of my jeans/pants/shorts. That's why I don't get the "Plus" size model. But covers increase the dimensions and bulk of the sleek iPhone to a surprising degree. And the 17 is a little bigger than my old 13. So, I purchase four covers from Amazon and tried them all out. The two Torras covers were very well designed and built, fit very snugly and so are pretty much impervious to inadvertently slipping off, and appear to be made of material that will not yellow noticeably (although I can't quantify that yet). That said, the Slim Fit was noticeably thinner, which was what I was looking for, so it got the nod between those two. The basic silicone case I tried did not fit as snugly and I could see the possibility that it would slip off and possibly yellow over time. I also tried a Spigen and was VERY impressed with its quality, but the Torras Slim Fit won out because of its smaller size, which was my goal.

The case feels extremely lightweight. Personally, I like a case that adds a little bit of weight to the phone, but when carrying round a larger iPhone (like the iPhone 17 Pro Max), then I think the lighter case makes sense. As far as the quality I've used other thin cases on the market before, particularly the Spigen Thin Fit case and this matches (if not surpasses it's quality). It feels more refined. Unlike the Spigen case, you don't see the seems or any glue lines. Plus, the coating on the case has a more premium feel. As far as the design, it's seek and elegant. It allows you to enjoy the design of the iPhone while still offer some protection or an enhanced grip on the phone. (I've always found the bare iPhone to be slippy.) The depth of the black is classy and the matte texture gives it a premium feel. The buttons feel precise and have enough click to provide good feedback. The cutout for the charging port on the button is big enough to support most third-party chargers. The one thing I would note is that this case does not have additional MagSafe magnets. (Although the case is thin enough that many accessories will still work.) This keeps the case light. But, if you are someone who uses MagSafe often, I would check out the version that includes the magnets. At the end of the day, I wouldn't say it perfectly replicates the feel of the bare phone… but I mean that in a good way. As I stated above, the bare phone can often feel slippy and not be pleasant to hold for long periods of time. I think this does a good job maintaining the thinness of the bare phone while also providing the added value of protection and grip.

Good look and feel, thinnest case possible for device, charges wirelessly well but when mounted to a Magsafe mount, it falls easily. It is a durable case, when not mounting isn't needed it can do the job perfectly. I need a stronger magsafe mountable case and as previously mentioned, this one falls off the mount easily in the car as other cases I have used do not. Good value for the money.

The case feels slightly rubbery which feels very nice in the hand, and if you do not require very much protection from your case, this is very good. Note however, that this is not a very protective case, it is very thin. If you drop your phone it may pop out of the case in the process.

This is my third case for the iPhone Mini 12. One was too bulky, the other one was very slim (but broke eventually) and this one is somewhere in the middle. Quality seems very good but let's see after some months. Some people have complained about the plug nit fitting but I have no problems both with my original Apple cable and other ones I have. Only issue: is a bit on the expensive side.
