Disney Infinity 3.0 Wii U Standalone Game Disc Only

Came as described. Fast, correct game edition, no scratches, plays correctly with my WiiU. My disk that came with my original setup was worn out so I purchased this replacement disk and it works perfectly with my setup. The disk, packaging and cover look identical to the one that came with my original set up. Just for anyone who doesn’t understand what you are getting, this is only to replace the WiiU game disk that came in your previously purchased game play setup. It ONLY comes with a disk; you MUST already have the play setup for this game to work. “Stand-alone” means just the disk, not that it can play without figures, portal, etc. A full play setup comes with a couple 3.0 Star Wars figures, a game disk, a 3.0 playset piece, and a game portal base. A full setup also costs ~5 times the price of this replacement disk, so I am very thankful for this seller. Also, all figures are forward compatible in toy box mode only, but not backwards compatible. You can play 1.0, 2.0, and 3.0 in toy box mode only, but you can not play 3.0 or 2.0 in a 1.0 toy box mode. Play set pieces will only play certain associated characters (Star Wars with Star Wars play sets, etc). The portal bases are compatible with all play set versions. I hope this review helps because everyone’s reviews on this game disk before I bought it were just confusing or wrong. I get absolutely nothing from writing this review. I’m just trying to help all the moms and dads out there trying to figure this stuff out like I was. 🙂

This game is pretty awesome and brings back many memories. We have the PC version of the game but mostly needed this for multiplayer because that's what made it fun.

It worked nicely, just wished I didn't need to buy every version from 1.0 to 3.0 to play every play set. Version 3 should work with all playsets, not just the 3.0 version sets!

Kids have all 3 of these games and love them all.

This is not a standalone game as advertised! Unless you are previously familiar with Infinity, you'd be justified believing that the disc is a game on its own right, as implied by the STANDALONE title. But without other products sold separately the disc is useless.. there should have been a huge warning with the sale of this product. In every other game the figurines add some sort of bonus and little more, but in this case they are the game itself! Unethical to say the least.

Very fun for the kids and they play for hours at a time.

Tons and tons of fun in some great franchises. My boys are having a blast. Still a great game even without the online part that is now disabled. Playing through story mode in the marvel super hero or in the Star Wars universe or just goofing around in your fully customizable toy box. It’s hours of fun for kids of all ages.
