M14 x 1.5 Professional Stainless Steel Wheel Studs (Set of 2)

I got these to help hold and guide the rim when securing the lug bolts. Helped a ton, just have to be careful the ridges near the edge don't strip the holes. Definitely need to properly life and move the rim without getting caught on the ridges.

Honestly, I am amazed that they can produce and ship me these pins for so cheap. They are made in Pontiac Michigan (I think) and they are made very nicely indeed. I was skeptical about them being "stainless" but they are. The M14x1.5 size is etched below the surface and should be visible forever. Very cool. I almost bought cheaper pins but I am glad I spent the extra 6.00. Very worth it. I paid 25.00 plus tax and free shipping. They arrived in a few days. My second choice was the ABN brand for 18.00 or the OEM set of 8 for 35.73 but the OEM set was criticized for being a bit weak and bending, which I did not want, but having two of each of four different sizes in a kit really appealed to me. If I need a different size, I may buy that set still. The ABN ones are (I believe) made in Taiwan and so are probably the best bang for the cheapest buck in one size. The OEM set is also made in Taiwan. Still, I made the right choice in that I feel I got the very best quality for a really affordable price. Also, the ABN set has a hole to back the pin out if it gets a little stuck. Mine has a hex which can be used to screw the pin in and also remove it quickly. The OEM's don't have either feature and you will have to use a vice grips in that case. Not a big deal but worth considering. As many have said, I wish I knew about these pins years ago. Good luck.

Unlike other types of wheel hangers, these are sturdy, have full threads like the lug bolts do. As an added bones they have a interna hex in the end. This allows you to use a hex tool in an electric screwdriver to install and remove. Makes things easy.

The machining quality of the is absolutely first rate. Buy them. They are the best!

I've been hefting up my Audi tires FOR YEARS then saw these and thought it would be short money to try them.OMFG...if you do ANY tire changing on your car ( Audi in my case...thread size specific) you need to get these. Just get the holes in the rim close to these stud hole extensions and slide them on. SO simple.

I own an auto repair shop with my son. We specialie in transmisssion work, and itseems like we are always taking a wheel off or putting one back on. These things make the job quick and easy. I cut an allan wrench and use it in my cordless drill to run them in and out of the hubs and make the job even easier. The only other thing I can say is that I wish I had bought something likethis years ago because my back would probably feel a lot better. I recommend them to anyone that woks on foreign vehicles.
