It was a struggle to find the right baby gate for the bottom of our stairs, but I’m super glad we came across this one. We wanted a pressure mount gate for the bottom of our stairs, had to be adjustable to different widths at the top and bottom since our stairs have a trim along the bottom edge. So many other gates have complaints on easiness to install, etc. but this gate was great.My reasons for liking it so much are:-Like I mentioned, the top and bottom of the gate can be extended to different widths if you have trim you’re fitting it against.-Super easy to work one handed, I’ve been able to open it over and over again while holding a squirmy baby in one arm just fine.-Love that the gate can be opened wide enough to stay in the open position.-We installed the adhesive wall cups for base of stairs (didn’t screw them in but we would have at the top of the stairs, I wanted a hard mounted gate without a threshold at the top of the stairs though). The wall cups are great if you plan on taking the gate down temporarily for any reason, like between babies if your child learns stairs, moving furniture, etc. but you still can easily put the gate back in the exact same spot.-SO easy to install compared to other gates. We used the adhesive on the wall cups which I like, I’m sure there will be some damage to paint when we remove them but we plan on having more kids and will use the gate on and off for years, so I don’t mind. I’ve heard adhesive to paint can be removed a little easier with a hair dryer, but I haven’t tried it yet.-The installation guide to get the right width is SO EASY compared to other gates, ours fits wonderfully with the first attempt.Super strong, easy to open, easy to install, well built gate that we’re glad to have found.

Well built. Works great easy to assemble and install. Make sure it’s level, tension correct, and square. You can tell buy auto closure working. Really nice gate!

This gate is well built, and measurements are exactly as stated. It is very strong and operates very smoothly.

The pros: These gates are exactly what I needed, which was 2 gates to keep my new dog away from our doorway and out of the kitchen. They're relatively easy to install, if a bit time consuming to install solo. If I had another person helping, I'm sure it would've been much easier and much quicker. I ordered 2 gates, and was happy to discover that the extensions are able to be taken from one set and added onto another if necessary. Our kitchen entryway was small enough to only need the small extension, but our entryway was wide enough to need an extra large extension, and I took it from the second gate and it fits perfectly. The gates close easily, aren't loud (unless you let them swing closed on their own), are quite tall, sturdy, and support the weight of my 38 lb dog when she jumps and leans on them. They're easy to open and we can do so with one hand if necessary.The cons: The adhesive pads for the wall cups are quite strong. This would be a good thing, however they tore paint off of the wall when I needed to reposition the gate and therefore the wall cup. I also had to run to the store to get new mounting tape, as the gates do not come with any extra adhesive pads. The tension mounts also regularly come very slightly loose - not enough to really be noticeable, but enough to where the door can be simply pulled out of the latch without needing to actually pull the latch back. It should be noted that the door still needs to be lifted slightly to open it, but it won't need you to unlatch it first. This issue has caused me to keep one of the provided wrenches next to each gate at all times to re-tighten whenever I notice this.Overall, I am very satisfied with these gates and would recommend them to someone else, with the knowledge of the above cons noted. I think they're a solid purchase and the price is justified.

I did not measure correctly I forgot to factor in the base boards so the gate doesn't fit. I build in a side piece of wood and connected the gate to it.so now it's great! This was my fault..so make sure you measure twice ..lol. The gate itself is very nice . It's solid and the door works well. The material is like a steel,so there is no chipping or peeling which I appreciate .

Easy installation. Nice height and looks nice. Very secure.

The gate is strong and holds up well to constant abuse from my toddlers.

Stylish gate. Highly encourage you to measure twice before ordering. While the legs can go pretty far out, there will be a sizable gap between the gate and your wall if you overextend it (this may be an issue for pets).Has a very heavy close. I don't find this to be an "issue" but it is very loud, and if the cat or rabbit is trying to sneak out it would definitely slam pretty hard on them. I just keep my hand on it until it is completely closed. Due to the nature of the latch, and needing to pull upward, it does also make noise when being opened. Think knocking against the wall/the extenders knocking together. Again, fine, but might drive you nutty if you need a silent house for sleeping babies etc.I did have one issue with putting the additional side panels on. For some reason I really struggled to get the pegs in the bottom holes. The top went in fine. I even swapped them around in case I had it backwards but the bottom peg holes just seemed to be a tad narrow or obstructed. I ended up committing to the sizing with a hammer...

Received a New Defect item and very quick replacement within 48 hours. The gate is very solid and keep my jumping leader golden in his place. recommend this product.

Es firme y resistente. Solo le tuve que poner esa tela pues la intención era impedir el paso de gatos y son muy flexibles, si pasaban a través de las barras.Adjunto foto de la infractora 🐈
