If you are going to have just one set of “plier”, these are the way to go. Heavy and durable machining. Hard-nose lip comes together flush after months of clamped use. Removes stubborn screws/nails, with ease. Cutting edge is sharp but has a tactile feel for delicate wire stripping as well. Clamps and vises are easy to use with these pliers and do not slip. The hand-grip doesn’t lose its “tacky” feel even after months of various grease/oil getting all over them. Easy to clean and comes wit a protective nose jacket.

The cutting edge is fanstic. The head of the tool is multi purpose anything from: stripped screw heads, pulling carpet staples, to turning blots. Good comfortable grips that do not seem as if the grip will fail or slide. High quality tool steel it seems.

I had my doubts that this tool would work, I had a screw that was completely stripped. I'd tried several other methods to remove it, including an impact driver, but no luck. Ordered the Vampliers out of sheer desperation, not really expecting it to work, but hoping. Gripped those onto the head of the screw, trying to work to get it as close to the surface as possible (hoping the ends would slide slightly under the head of the screw) and lo and behold, IT CAME OFF!!! I was shocked and very pleased! The tool fits comfortably in my hand and was easy to use. Looks like a high quality tool, I expect it to last well, looks durable. Comes with a cap to go over the head to protect it while in the tool box. Overall I am extremely pleased and impressed. What a great tool! I'd give it 10 stars if I could!

Wish it were more corrosion-resistant and longer-lasting. It gets the job done about 1/2 the time but I don't see it being a long-term tool the way it's already been wearing down and at the price, I likely won't buy another pair. Not a bad product by any means but also not amazing.

I'm renovating an old bathroom to turn it into a pantry.One of the screws to mount the toilet paper holder on the wall simply would not come out, no matter what I tried. The screw was right in the middle of the wall, and I was desperate.These pliers removed them easily. I'm very grateful. Excellent product.

A couple years ago I bought a cheap stand for my computer monitor. The stand came with bolts to attach the rear plate, but the bolts were made of some kind of soft metal that immediately stripped the first time that the plate was attached. While trying to remove one of the bolts (to replace with something better), the head snapped off. So now I had one bolt completely stripped and un-screwable, and another bolt secured in the monitor with no head to even attempt un-screwing.I expected the pliars to be able to pull out the stripped bolt, but figured I needed to drill into the broken bolt and risk damaging the monitor. Well, these pliars were able to remove all of the bolts with ease and leave the monitor working and intact. Definitely worth the price to me even for this single task. I am in love with these things now and we are getting married in June. My parents were a little surprised at first but luckily they have been extremely supportive and have even stood up for us when the need has arisen. Life can be crazy and unpredictable but I know in my heart and soul that these pliers are the only tool for me.

We inherited bathroom cabinets that for some reason had handles attached with safety screws. We wanted to change the hardware, but could not find a solution for those darn screws until we came across the Vamplires. They made quick work of grabbing that safety screws when nothing else (other pliers, drilling, cutting a new groove, etc) was even the least bit effective. Nice work Vampliers!

Heard the engineer brand was essentially the same, but the equivalent engineer didn't have the cap. Ordered these and the larger engineer model. They are both fantastic and are my new favorite tools. I managed to get a very stuck bbq screw off with a combination of both of them, but the second screw required my oscillating tool. So they won't magically open every rusted annoying screw. That said they are great for a bunch of purposes and ignore the reviews that say they are equivalent to dollar store pliers. These are heavy duty tools. That look and feel great and serve a unique purpose. I'm keeping both as one really needs both sizes. Highly impressed. Think the larger vampliers are probably overpriced. But they are worth it. Note. The engineers and these are so similar that I don't think they are a copy. I think they are made in the same factory. Like identical in design. Either brand is a good choice.
