I already have red handled hard brayers, but had been told that soft brayer were the right thing to use . Happened to come across these )not in local store, so I thought I would buy a set. When I felt them they didn't feel particular different. Think I might have been 'done' I put a question on Gelli Plate Enthusiasts . In amongst the illy replies was an explanation that they do feel the same harness, but they do respond differently and the black handled soft ones pick up the paint better when putting paint onto the plate. So there is a purpose for having them other than the handles! Not particularly noticed this, but to have 3 cheap but 'O.K'' more brayers is fine..

Bought for printing workshops with a wide range of ages. They held up well to multiple use and were effective at working paint around the block. They are really good value considering the price.

I've tried a few different brands and these are the best yet, but that's not too much praise as the others were terrible! These nearly run smooth, but there's still a bit of bounce in the movement - why can't manufacturers put the pivot point exactly in the centre? And they're definitely not "soft"! Three stars because they're just about useable.
