It is really sticky. Works great. Comes with a cover for over the sticky part that if you only have one hand is nearly impossible to remove.

I bought this Picksy intending to pick up dropped jigsaw puzzle pieces (layered paper) with it. It didn't work well because the Picksy is so-o-o sticky. The puzzle piece threatened to split apart as I peeled it away from the sticky surface. I was aware this might happen and worked it carefully; my puzzle piece is still intact. The size of the sticky surface was also a little clumsy for the kind of precise jabbing I need to do as I fish around under my dining room table for a puzzle piece.However, I'm going to hand this little tool over to Darling Hubby. He's always dropping things, and this sticky Picksy might be just what he needs. It has an extension handle, so he doesn't have to bend over (he has a bad back). And it's sticky strong enough to pick up some fairly hefty objects (a stylus, maybe even a phone).As for that customer service, I had a little issue (unrelated to the tool's function or shipping) and contacted the seller (Sky Leap LLC). They got back to me right away--it took longer to figure out how to contact them (Amazon doesn't make it easy). They settled my issue immediately and with good nature.Conclusion: If this company will make a Picksy sufficient for picking up jigsaw puzzle pieces, I'll be buying from them again!
