Works perfectly

I purchased the whole Zwilling system from other distributer, just needed extra sandwich and storage bags, esp for breads and meats. Works very well, no leaking or air escapes. Happy with the purchase. One thing, I tried to vacuum a bag with fresh herbs, they turned out wet, messy and squashed. I started to store the herbs in a Zwilling container instead and use a paper towel. The same goes with soft fruits, esp. berries, they get crushed and let all the liquid out in a puddle on the bottom of a container. The pump has a strong suctions. The berries should be freezed first. Still experimenting with breads and a manual stop of the pump half way. Other than that I believe in the system, a great toy and saves energy, time,$$, odours, freshness, space.

I bought the Zwilling starter kit, which included a vacuum pump, food storage containers, and food storage bags. Since I really enjoyed using the starter kit, I went ahead and purchased these additional bags. I think the Zwilling system is very straightforward and helps reduce plastic waste, as the bags are reusable. My only issue is with cleaning the bags, as they are not dishwasher-safe. So I have to be extra careful when washing and drying them to avoid cross-contamination or hygiene issues. The positives: 1- They work very well with the Zwilling vacuum pump to preserve food freshness ; 2- They are durable and can be reused multiple times ; 3- The different sizes are convenient for various uses ; 4- They can be stored in both the fridge and freezer ; 5- The bags take up little space in your kitchen—and so does the Zwilling pump, which is much smaller and easier to store than a traditional vacuum sealer. 6- They’re eco-friendly, giving you peace of mind since you’re not constantly throwing away single-use plastic bags. The negatives: 1- They can’t be cleaned in the dishwasher, which would make sanitizing easier ; 2- Hand-washing them thoroughly—especially the corners at the bottom—can be tricky ; 3- The price per bag is relatively high (although, over time, they may end up being cheaper than disposable bags). Despite the points mentioned above, I still give these bags 5 out of 5 stars, because the positives far outweigh the negatives. These bags help reduce food waste, which is good for the environment and your wallet, and also helps cut down on pollution.
