FuturoWater Resistant Wrist Brace for Left Hand, Small/Medium

I broke my wrist and had to have surgery a few weeks ago and since I’m only in a splint, I thought this would be perfect for showering. I have pretty small wrists and yet the s/m is very tight, plus the Velcro is horrible! I ended up hot gluing stronger Velcro to my splint to insure it stays on.Also this sellers pricing is all over the place. I just went to order the left handed splint in L and saw that it was being sold for $22 but the right handed one is only $6...also if you’re thinking about returning this item be aware, that will be $3.

Purchased this brace for swimming and durability. So far this has exceeded my expectations for water resistance and durability...the velcro has held up for the past month swimming 3 to 5 times a week and the brace has not split or has not broken apart. After I swim, I rinse off the pool water and use mild soap and water to clean it. Only thing I would suggest is you check the size recommended for your wrist.

My daughter (9-yo) incurred a buckle fraction in her wrist a week before our beach vacation ... I was able to get this in the small/medium and it fit her well. She was able to beach and pool it up all week long! Provided comfort and protection. Easily got the sand off and dried quickly. She was able to put it on by herself and didn't complain at all (it isn't bulky or heavy at all).

Bought this for my 9 year old daughter while finishing the healing process with a hairline fracture. Kept her wrist immobile & steady and gave her the freedom to swim and do fun summer things. Only issue is that the Velcro came loose often & we had to keep securing it. Wish it had been stronger Velcro to stay put.

It's really comfortable and practical, but the strings are made out of fabric and if you get it wet often, eventually it will break, making it impossible to use the brace. My suggestion would be for them to come up with a better, water-proof string.
