It's a 6" / 15cm metal ruler. It makes fpul-tasting coffee and is terrible at milking cows but, if you need to draw a short straight line, it's right there for you.

The photo shows a conversion scale on the back (cm to inches). Also the ruler is curved and will not lie flat on the table and therefore unsuitable for measuring or for drawing straight lines
