TECLAST F16Pro Laptop 8GB 256GB

I found this laptop to work well for daily tasks like web browsing and office work. Even some video editing seems to work fine! I wouldn't say it's a gaming laptop, but it's easy to use and has a clean design.Pros:- The build quality feels decent (lid is made out of metal, and although the bottom of the laptop is plastic, it feels rigid). The hinge is also made of metal and can fold completely flat.- I like that the display has a matte finish (I prefer over glossy), since it doesn't have much glare.- I found the keyboard comfortable to use. I also appreciate that it has a backlight, which seems to have 2 levels of brightness. Trackpad felt okay.- There's a stock version of Windows 10 Pro installed, leaving about 200GB of space left (maybe they could have included 512GB, but at least it's upgradable behind the back cover).- Above average microphones & webcam - the mic in particular sounded clean when video calling. What I liked was the safety switch that can disable the webcam when not in use (this is a good privacy feature).- It has nice performance...although it's not the newest generation chip, I was still able to do everything I needed without much lag. My usage primarily included YouTube, docs and some light gaming (e.g. CS:GO, Half Life, Minecraft and emulation worked fine).- I liked the quad speakers (sounded loud & clear)- For me, it has satisfactory I/O (ports). It can charge using a standard type C port and I didn’t need to use any hubs or adaptors. Nice!Cons:- A lot of entry-level laptops are starting to have 8GB RAM, so it would have been nice to see an extra 1-2 GB included here. However, multitasking still worked fine.- I think the Wi-Fi reception strength is good, however it doesn’t currently support WiFi 6- I noticed a little bit of background noise when running more demanding programs (it’s not loud, but this is not a fanless computer). And as part of the design, the rubber feet on the back lifts the laptop upwards to help with ventilation (this means it’s more comfortable when using on a flat surface)

With materials of good quality and important details. The equipment is for used in secondary school. I configured it with the operating system Linux Mint Cinnamon 20.3, everything worked very well to the first, Exept the sound that investigating the RealTek ALC256 controller a bit requires adjusting an output. What can be done with the HDajackRetask tool.

I bought this for my son for a gift. All in all its been a good laptop until the charging cord had a short in it so it will not charge the PC. The most frustrating and disappointing part is you cannot find the correct AC adapter to fit. The company will NOT help you, email after email with no results. My recommendation is not to buy due to their customer service.

You get what you pay for, it's a decent laptop, with decent speed and power. It's able to do what I need it to for personal, business, and light gaming. However the speakers on it, or at least mine are a bit scratchy sounding, and the fans are a tad noisy, but overall I don't regret this purchase so far.

I'm using it right now. Only thing I don't like is the Home and End and Pg Up and Pg Dn are on the number keypad and you have to press shift and the key to get them. Also no decimal period on the number keypad. But you get used to it.

Compre este PC con algunas dudas. No es una marca conocida, pero me lleve una excelente sorpresa. A nivel de velocidad funciona bien para los procesos que se le exigen. Esteticamente esta bien, a pesar de no tener un chasis en aluminio. Es liviano, comodo, un buen sonido y una excelente pantalla. A nivel de juegos no podemos exigirle como un PC gamer, dado que su tarjeta de video no es la mejor, pero cumple su cometido para algunos juegos basicos.

Value for the money plays games without hesitation. I asked my grandson. What are you doing for fun. I am playing games on the computer you and Willie got me for Christmas. All I cared about that he loves it and he is able to download games and play without hesitation.

College aged daughter did not believe it would accommodate her needs. Built with older tech and a tad overpriced. Probably suitable for person who looking for a very budgeted laptop with limited capability as built with 2018 components. Never opened the box and it was returned to TECLAST as the order was cancelled but the laptop was just shipped out so a matter of going to UPS and returning it with a RMA.
