These baskets surprisingly last a very short time, given that it is exposed to salt, chlorine, and the like. I've even had one get partially sucked into the skimmer basin. Anyway, since they don't last long, get the cheapest one possible. This version looks as sturdy as the original, which is to say, not very. There are TWO baskets in case that is not clear, so a good value.

It fit in a Waterway skimmer. Don't bother with the handle, I removed the plastic handle which I knew wasn't secured/strong enough and replaced it with twine. Now it's OK.
