I love the Redbourne Family....
I loved the announcement that a new Redbourne book had been released. The family of boys with one sister, Hannah, are all different, with different jobs, different futures and one main goal that family is the biggest value in their lives. I've read all the books and love each one. I've waited for Levi's story. He grew up on the ranch; went into the civil war; came home to the love of his family and set off on the adventure of building the railroad across the U. S. and settling small towns along the way. What a huge job but perfect for him as the Iron Horseman. Pinkerton sent an agent to protect the head of the railroad and see that the ceremonial joining of the Eastern Railway to the Western section went along without a hitch. Did I say hitch? Well, that is the story. The Pinkerton Detective is female that could use a gun, knife and her personality to win any fight. Cadence was the daughter of a Pinkerton Agent and had learned her trade by watching her father and the lady agent, Anne. I recommend this book and all the other Redbourne stories.

Nice series
Storyline keeps you guessing, lots of humor and who did it involved. These stories run at the same time even though you know what happened in each of their lives.

Levi Redbourne :)
The Redbourne men are the most amazing characters in the American west! This is Levi Redbourne's story, and it's a good one! This story includes a bit of history, about finishing the railroad from the East Coast to the West Coast. We all love big, sexy, strong male characters, and Levi fits the bill, but there is a most independent, capable female character too! Miss "Cade" Cadence Walker is a Pinkerton agent on the hunt, and she just might find more than she is looking for, especially when she runs across Levi. You'll find lots of adventure and fun and of course love. I highly recommend you read the entire Redbourne Series, you will not be disappointed, you'll fall in love instead, I promise :) This is one of the best American West Romance Series I've read, you'll never forget the Redbourne Men. :)

Exciting and Romantic!
I thought a book dealing with trains would be boring, I sure was wrong. I love the Redbourne men; they are everything Cowboys should be, handsome, nice built, talented and polite. Since there were several brothers in this book it made for an interesting story. Levi Redbourne was the main character, and his attraction to the mysterious Cadence made for a lot flirting and sexual tension. I liked that Levi and Candance became romantically linked quite early in the book, and being throw together traveling the train out west only brought them closer together. This book was full of adventure and mysteries to figure out. It may be my favorite in the series so far.

Loved this book and book three!!
I almost didn't read on to books three and four because the first two were all over the place. I they the series would be better for me if I read them in chronilogical order by the year of events.

As with all of Ms. Morgan's books "The Iron Horseman" doesn't disappoint. Just as interesting as the ones before. I look forward to the next.

The iron horseman.
I am disappointed that the 1st book of the series should have been the last. Also mot happy with the sequence the rest oh the books are written in. All the books are very similar. An O.K. read.

A deffinate page turner
Loved this book as I did the rest of the Redbourn Series. Couldn't put it down till it was finished. Great story line. It had everything, love, mystery, fun. I love Kelly Ann Morgan's books because there's no unnecessary nudity or abusive language. It's a good clean interesting story and gives great insight to all the Characters, setting them up for another storyline that has me waiting patiently for her next book.

Worth a read but not as good as previous stories in the series
The story of Levi Redbourne involves the attempts at destroying the joining of the two railways to cross the states creating a United Stats of America. He works for the rail company in easing people into their new lives built near new railroads. After meeting Cadence Walker, a Pinkerton detective, he joins in her mission of discovering the culprits determined to ruin everything.Cadence is a capable woman but for some reason I did not particularly like her character. It is probably because the story revolved around a lot of action, but does not necessarily focus on a love story so much.As usual some of the Redbourne brothers make an appearance and this is when the dialogue brightens. I became confused at one point and had to read several times for clarification when Lucas, Levi's cousin walked into a room. He hung his hat on a peg, yet in the next sentence he is holding it to hide a kiss and placing it on the table! Also the family tree at the end confused me. It shows the Redbourne siblings and their marriage dates. I have read the story of Cole, and in It Hannah has her baby, yet she is down as unmarried on that date. Strange.
