Pet Proof Window Screen Replacement, 39 inch W x 100 inch L, Upgraded Thicken Charcoal Mesh for Sliding Pet Screen Door Repair - Screen Door Protector for Dogs Patio Screen mesh

These pet proof screens are the best! Our cats used to pick and hang on our dining room window, leaving tiny holes and pick marks. After installing these new screens (which, by the way, is quite simple if you have a screening kit with the right tools), now the windows can be opened again without fear of bugs and mosquitos! Easy peasy to install and cut to size. They’ve held up well so far to both kids and pets - not a pick mark in sight from the kitties! Will buy again for other screens as we replace them over time. This kit was enough to replace four windows, we just had to be pretty precise with measuring to ensure enough extra when installing.

I'm an 80 year old woman. I'm not as strong as a young man, but I can manage most things. I replaced the screen in a large double window because my cat had shredded the screen and made an escape route. There was enough screening material to fit both sides of the window. Maybe because of the thickness of the screen and the thicker spline, I found it difficult to get the spline into the groove. Not impossible, and I did manage, but it took a while, about an hour to do each side. I had to push all along the sides with a tool (a screwdriver would work) several times to make sure it was all the way in. But now it's done and is hanging in place. I've read that, because of the heavy screen, it would appear noticeably darker in the room. I can't say that I've experienced that. It isn't invisible but it's like any good quality screen, particularly one from decades ago. A 16 pound cat was sitting on the screen as I was installing it so I wasn't sure it was as taut as I'd like. I let one side sit overnight and then tightened it, and it's far smoother. People have mentioned the creases. I could see them but they were less pronounced the second day. But once I had the screen in place, the creases disappeared and it looks terrific. It's been in place now for about 6 weeks. My ginormous cat has clawed it, jumped on it, climbed it, and hung from it day after day with no damage at all to the screen. I did leave a half inch edge rather than cutting close to the spline because I didn't want the screen to pull away with a large cat hanging on it. I would definitely buy this again and again. The only caution is the effort it took to install due to the sturdiness of the fabric.

I honestly wish I had discovered the Pet Proof Window Screen Replacement Kit sooner! As a pet owner, I've struggled to find a durable solution to protect my window screens from my energetic Great Dane mix puppy. But this product has exceeded all my expectations. First and foremost, the durability of this screen is unparalleled. The upgraded thicken charcoal fiberglass mesh is incredibly sturdy and resilient, standing up to even the most determined clawing and scratching from my pets. I've had it installed for several months now, and it still looks as good as new - no tears, no fraying, no signs of wear whatsoever. It's truly a testament to the quality of the materials used in its construction. Installation was a breeze thanks to the user-friendly design of the kit. The 48" x 100" size provided more than enough material to cover large glass sliding doors, and the included instructions were clear and easy to follow. In no time at all, I had the screens installed and my worries about my pets damaging them were a thing of the past. Not only does this screen provide exceptional durability, but it also offers excellent visibility and airflow. The charcoal color blends seamlessly with my windows, providing a clean and sleek appearance that doesn't detract from the overall aesthetic of my home. And despite its thickened construction, it doesn't impede airflow at all, allowing fresh air to circulate freely throughout the house. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the Pet Proof Window Screen Replacement Kit. It's a game-changer for pet owners like myself who want to protect their windows without sacrificing visibility or airflow. If you're tired of replacing flimsy screens every few months, do yourself a favor and invest in this product - you won't be disappointed!

Bought this to keep my dogs from scratching and leaving scratch marks on it, tested a small piece and held up to scratching so time will tell on the actual door screen. Install was easy but did require me spending some time to get the crease lines out, instructions mention that this is required as they ship it folded to keep costs down. I see several negative comments about this, I have a heat gun so run the low setting across this and it straighten right out. Just ordered some more to do a few others since it worked out so well with the front door screen.

I added the screen to the bottom half of my lanai to prevent the dog from scratching. I secured it with double sided Velcro tape. So far- very pleased with the result. The screen is tough and thick. It should be difficult for my dog to scratch through.

It really worked for me on my living room window screen. Very happy with product

Great, high quality screen. I re-screened all of my screens to be sure my cat wouldn't get out. The previous screens were just shredded by his nails, not this screen! I ordered again to do neighbors screens!

Have had this on my sliding screen door for more than three years and it lives up to it's billing. I have four cats and one stray we take care of. There has been plenty of clawing at the screen over the years and still no holes. If I never need to replace the screen, I will be buying this again.

With floor to ceiling doors it is hard to find a product that doesn't required you to purchase six or more meters leaving you with plenty of wastage or needing to store it for three plus years. Great quality product, easy to and looks great installed.

So far they try and scratch it and there is no breaks in screen.well UPDATE 10=weeks installed cats are breaking screen. Definetly not cat proof

Our cat ripped our standard flyscreen to bits so I replaced the screen with this pet-proof one. So far it works. Cat still claws at the screen but it doesn’t rip or shred it. Stays strong.
