The nose ring? It simply twists out easily. The actual gun itself is spring loaded and is only one time use - so once nose ring is placed the mechanism simply crumbles after placement.

Is there any way to pierce with a hoop instead of a stud?

The only way is if you go to a shop and have it done professionally. There's no way to pierce using this device using the hoop provided, or any hoop. You'd have to let the stud heal a bit, then change it to a hoop in a few weeks.

How do you remove it? If you want to change it

Please carefully pinch the nasal nail head with your hand or other suitable tools, and gently pull it up until you feel the bent part, and rotate it to a certain angle,then the bent part can be pulled out. You can imagine there is a table is a bit wide and cannot be moved directly into the room door, you can tilt the table 90 degree and then rotate the table so that the legs of the table enter the room first. Therefore, you can refer to this similar approach to take out the nose nail.
