They really are long posts! They are good quality and do not irritate my very sensitive ears. They come in ready to use piercing cartridges and I had no trouble with them at all! Very simple, smooth release of the earrings from the cartridges and they did not get stuck, as some do. I will be sterilizing all pieces and reusing them for my next piercings!

I got these earrings for my daughter who had to visit the ER after the stud on a new ear piercing basically disappeared inside her ear! Unfortunately, she has inherited my super-chubby ear lobes. These earrings really do have an extra long post that allowed her to keep the piercing and avoid future problems with infections and disappearing studs related to tight earrings. Excellent value, fast shipping, would definitely buy again.

Ok, first off I bought a gun to pierce my other ear with. It was a POS and I never needed it/used it. Don’t waste your money; these things are the way to go. These things come in a sealed hypoallergenic container. EACH earing comes in its own package. Now, each of these packages holds one earring. They come in a spring loaded push piercing tool. Each has its own. It’s so easy!!! My wife and I wished we knew about these when we were younger. Course I don’t think they had them when we were younger. Ok all you do is line up the plastic earing holder and push. Bam, right through your ear, the spring kicks in and releases the earring. It puts the back on for you. One push and you pierce your ear and set the earring. So you basically, take them out of the package, line them up where you want them, squeeze the plastic mechanism and it’s done. I was putting two in one ear and missed my mark one time (my own fault). It was so painless, I just took it out. Put it back into the plastic tool and did it again. This really was awesome. I’m ordering more just to have them on hand. We’re in a bike club, and you never know when someone wants a piercing. These things are great just to have on hand. I’m seriously happy with these….awesome!!!!!! FORGET BUYING A GUN, you don’t need it with these puppies. For this kind of money, try it!!! You’ll love it!!!! The COOLEST, EASIEST, and completely PAIN FREE way to pierce your ears!!!! Just crunch the white plastic thing and you're done. Next...where to put the next....lol.... :P

Read Chad Smith's review and decided to give it a try (Thanks, Chad !!!). One hole had closed, the other was open. I didn't need the mechanism of the product, but easily put it through the hole that had closed. Definitely recommend the product.

I used these to replace the piercing studs I already had in my ears. I have chubby earlobes and the original studs were pinching and causing selling and seepage! These are FAR more comfortable than my original studs! The earring backs snap firmly into place. No worries of them falling out. The studs were easy to remove from the 'piercing gun'. I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone with chubby earlobes.

This product was really amazing. The earrings were delivered in sterile containers and the actual piercing process was very easy and painless. I recommend icing the ear for 5 minutes to numb the area before piercing, as well as using rubbing alcohol to clean it. Then you should mark where you want to insert the earring. Overall, the product is very well made. It didn’t come with any instructions but you can find how-to videos very easily. Also, if you are looking for an aftercare sanitizer, I recommend wound wash, which should be used 3-4 times a day.
