The beeswax works great as expected. The holder that holds the Beeswax is very convenient so you're not fumbling with the actual wax and it has a little grooves to run the thread through to get it waxed very easy to use!

Simple to use: just push thread through bottom, pop discs apart and thread to opposite slots, gently pull thread across the wax and you're ready to stitch. I start by softly pulling the thread end across the wax for a firm hold through the needle eye. Great value. Easy to replace or rotate wax bead as it wears. Size is perfect for any thread size and can wax multiples at the same time. I like to prep multiple lengths prior to stitching for quick rethreading. Fewer knots while pulling through fabric layers and makes threading needles a snap. Apply a little heat to smooth the surface again after grooves appear or before it snaps into pieces.

Only problem is case wants to come apart from time to time. Otherwise very good. Wax is great

This is a great product for thread. It helps make stitches look great and lay nicely. It may help a little to keep thread from tangling but that is not the reason I like it.
