Brooks Men's Revel 5 Neutral Running Shoe

I recently purchased the Brooks Men's Revel 5 Neutral Running Shoe, and I am extremely satisfied with its performance, comfort, and overall quality. These are an excellent shoe that I highly recommend for anyone running medium distances with a mix of trail and road. I ran these daily for around 4 months, in a mix of rocky trails with steep inclines as well as smooth paved roads. The energize foam really held up well and provided a lot of rebound with each step. I did notice after 200 miles the initial spring was gone and I began to feel more impact with each step. At 300 almost all springiness was gone. The upper was outstanding, my legs and feet tend to sweat in other shoes but these provided great airflow, I didn’t have a single blister while wearing these. I did notice some wear near the toes that could be due to rough trails, but overall they are still in great shape. The treads were outstanding and absolutely held up to anything I could throw at them, providing grip even in mossy rock. The treads eventually wore down a bit near the mid section around 150 miles is when is was most evident. If I was to change with shoe I’d add more cushion for longer distances and more durable material near the ankle were I wore away the materials.Overall:This shoe is a great value and something I would buy again. They provided a nice about of rebound with each step and optimal airflow with little wear to the shoe itself.

Kind of flashy, but I get a lot of compliments and they are comfortable and fit my high arch better than most shoes I have tried.

Brooks has always made a comfortable shoe for walking, and working out. My only disappointment has been with the FLAT SHOESTRINGS. Who uses flat shoestrings anymore. They knot up when untying

My go-to walking sneakers. Comfortable and supportive for walking on pavement, dirt or mild terrain.

Purchased brand new for our Disney world trip. Wore them once to the store and that was all the “break in” that I did. Wore them the entire time in Disney walking 8-10 miles a day. These are very comfortable, light, and breathable. You can barely feel them on your feet. No fatigue or foot aches. Highly recommend and I’m a big guy (6’2”, 275). I had another pair of Brooks previously and the only issue I have is I need to get one size higher than my other shoes (need their size 13 instead of size 12).

Love these shoes! Great support, zero fatigue when worn all day. The fit is a bit different than my faves, the Ghost series, with a bit more tightness across ball area of my foot, which is why I gave them 4 rather than 5 stars for comfort. However - after wearing them and doing vigorous walks of about 5 miles per day for a couple weeks they stretched a bit and now are a perfect fit. I only buy Brooks products these days and have for a few years and they have never let me down. FWIW, I have a size 10 foot with decent arch and a D-width. If you have a narrower and flatter foot these may not be what you're looking for.

These are my second per of Brooks. They look good and are fantastic shoes. Hence I am not a runner but use them for work and longer walks. Definitely recommend them. I even have my wife hooked on Brooks.

Schuh ist gut verarbeitet. Schnürbänder gehen immer wieder auf. Was sooll das. Man kann bei einem teuren Schuh doch Schnürsenkel erwarten die machen was sie sollen. Das tun sieh aber nicht, sondern sie gehen immer auf, weil völlig falsches Material. Deshalb 1 Punkt Abzug. Besser machen.

Not just one day at least! My son made 2 hours of gym, after that the fabric of the toe of both shoes was broken and some parts of the sole just came off.
