I got this for my 11 year old nephew as a Christmas gift. He's very jittery, impatient and inarticulate in handling toys and he's gotten into automobile models like this. He's used to the more advanced models that require painting and gluing, but this kit still stumped him a few times due to his impatience and unwillingness to read instructions.I thought for sure he'd snap or break parts of the model during assembly, but I happily say the parts in this kit held up! Since he's assembled more complex models, he scornfully declared that models like this Snap-Tite "Have no challenge to them" and began putting it together.Yeah, he got the model assembled quickly, but as I said, some parts actually stumped him. Again, he refused to read the assembly instructions. An example of this causing confusion for him was, some parts have a keyed hole, and the mating part that goes in the hole has a plastic tab that fits into the keyway slot of the hole. My nephew didn't notice that and kept trying to jam the parts together until the keyway and slot were pointed out to him. He used a lot of force and I'm surprised the plastic key tab didn't break off.The steering column has a small square nub that locks the steering wheel in place on it. My nephew, in his haste of ripping parts out of the tree, broke the column off the tree at that nub, so the steering wheel won't stay in place. A drop of glue fixed that, but again, if he had read the instructions....All in all, this kit is indeed very approachable and even with help from an observant adult, I feel a small child could assemble models like this. It's cleverly engineered and the instructions seemed quite clear to me. But if you're looking at this kit as I did, a potential gift to a kid that is impatient, doesn't follow instructions, etc. I can say the parts in this kit are tougher than you'd think and the kid will likely still end up with a fully assembled vehicle!

I bought for my nephew for Christmas. He is 8. We built this together. I think it was too hard for him and it did not snap together as easy as some of the other models. He enjoyed it.

I ordered this for my 7 year old nephew who is a car fanatic! My brother helped him build it and I thought it was just an awesome bonding experience for dad/son. It was a bit difficult for him since he is 7 and the age category is 8+, but my brother helped him and he loved it!

Great fun kit for kids. Easy to assemble. Truck parts are well constructed. They fit perfectly for a final look like if it came from the factory. The toy factory that is.

It was a Christmas gift and it arrived on time and undamaged. My grandson loves cars and he was very excited to receive this truck to snap together and play with. It seemed to be made of sturdy plastic so it would not break too easily.

Grandson loved putting this one together and then playing with it.
