Item is made in India and branded Irwin. If I wanted to buy a Made in India item there are lots of better quality brands available. Having said that, the clamp on its own is not bad at all.

A C-Clamp is a C-Clamp
This C-Clamp is almost identical to one I have had for forty years. It is the same size and shape and finish and should last just as long as the old one has. They seem to never wear out no matter how much abuse they receive. I used this new one to hold some quarter round in position for cutting and it performed just fine. It was inexpensive and it worked just fine for me. I would not hesitate to get another one of these at all. Expensive is not always better and in this case the cheapest is just fine.

Adjustable C-Clamps
The order was received as promised with the correct number of clamps. Pretty simple order as the clamps are relatively foolproof.

Wrong photo- marked Irwin, not Adustable. Acme-threaded rod is poor quality.
I took two stars off- one because the clamp I received was not an Adjustable clamp (whether or not it has become another zombie brand like Irwin only has limited relevance here) and two more because I think the threaded post on the one I received (which is marked Irwin and has a cool childish Lego-inspired industrial design) is of poor quality.
