Great
As usual , Mr. Hartness has crafted a story of angels, characters of folk tales, humans, werewolves, vampires and added the 21st century to make an engaging story that keeps you turning the pages long after you should have retired for the night. I enjoy the snarkiness, and humor. A warning- the f word is used a lot. I am not a fan of it being a 70 year old woman, but the stories are so engaging that it is a really minor thing. Read and enjoy

I'm on my third Hartness novel, now, and ...
I'm on my third Hartness novel, now, and I've been hooked for the last month. What he may lack in literary finess or believable plot, he more than compensates with fast action, humor and making me care about his characters. I swore I was going to put down the first book but here I am, 2 books on and eagerly digesting it all.

Yes, you should read it!
Fantastic! It is the high intensity, action packed thrill that I've come to love from the first book. If you haven't read Quincy yet, stop what you are doing, and go read it.

Oh, Yeah!
I loved "Year One" of the Quincy Harker books. Five stars. This one was so much better! Seriously! The action was bigger, but more importantly the comedy was so much bigger. It takes a truly sick mind to have Count flipping Dracula announce, "These aren't the droids you're looking for." My sick mind adored it. If you like snarky, smartass humor, you will too.

Yay!
Without giving any spoilers, you will just have to read the book to know why my title is "Yay!". Great book, great series, can not wait to continue with the journey of Harker and Flynn and the rest of the gang! John G. Hartness....you ROCK!

Great Story
Fast-paced; would enjoy a full-length novel development because the character of Quincy holds potential for more thoughtful mayhem. I like his ability to instantly understand a situation and act accordingly. No wasting of time talking about dilemmas or feelings, and in that way he maintains interest in his character. Comparing Hartness to Laurel K. Hamilton's Anita Blake will find Hamilton's character wanting in that respect. There can be too much character development to the detriment of plot. But, Hartness's writing has a great deal of potential to be more successful than Hamilton. It reminds me of Dean Koontz's "Odd Thomas" series in a way.

Read this book!
But only after reading the earlier books. Another great fast paced snarky read by Mr. Hartness. I’m well impressed with all of his books so far. This was very enjoyable.
