KEEPERHampton PROD 1” X 13' Cargo Lashing Strap, 2 Pack - 200 Lbs. Working Load Limit

I've used these straps with a soft car top carrier for about two years now. The original straps that came with the car top carrier were mainly designed to hook into the door and not long enough to go through the car. These lashing straps have allowed me to go around the car top carrier and THROUGH my car. I haven't had any issues with the straps coming lose and have only had to tighten them as the car top carrier got compressed down after long time periods. No issues with the car top carrier shifting at highway speeds of 65mph. This is all on a car without a roof rack.Taken these on multiple trips over the past few years including an 8 hour and back return trip. The straps have not diminished in quality and have held up to all the mileage and weather elements so far. These work as they are supposed to and I would recommend them to others looking for a simple and secure way to lash something to the roof of their car.

Have both the 8' and 13' straps.... use them for moving (have car needs covered with higher end straps)....These BLEED orange/black once wet :(Beyond the bleeding, they work.JUST NEVER GET THEM WET!!!Be careful what they touch. The stain washes off of hands, but unsure of other items....food for thought if you're using these for outdoor purposes (and don't wash them either...same outcome)....nasty!They are also not of the stiffer variety which is nice, esp for furniture/moving. The metal part is also not 'top-notch' but do work.... I would never use them for any vehicle tie-down (even bikes in a pick-up) due to this (and again, also because of the black/orange residue over things if they do get wet). I would imagine that all colors offered by Keeper also bleed if wet ---use your discretion or go elsewhere.

Used these this weekend to help my eldest child move into a new apartment. We had to lash mattresses to the top of my RAV4. The straps are long enough to wrap around two twin mattresses and the roof rack easily. The spring-loaded latch made it very easy to cinch the straps very tight, and equally easy to unfasten when we arrived. Much, much faster than trying to tie the mattress down with rope. Nothing shifted during our ride. Every car should have a pair of these straps in the trunk. Beats having a knot slip and watching the mattress fly loose on the highway.The straps that came with my Thule kayak carriers have fancy rubber covers over the metal buckles. These straps don't (and they're also much cheaper), so when positioning make sure to keep the metal buckle up away from the car's finish.

We bought a pair of these to hold an out door tool box together ( a real piece of junk, but that's another story). The straps works as advertised and are a great value. The only reasons I didn't give them a five star rating are that we haven't had them long enough to assess the long term durability nor the rated tensile strength. For a non-critical application, five stars for sure!

Straps worked great for holding down a canoe to the top of my car all summer. 18ft canoe held down by these straps at 70mph and I always felt confortable. Couple conplaints are they hold a lot of water when wet and I had one get a slight tear after using them for a while. I bought 2 sets and they worked very well for me.

I used these for a travel keeper on top of my vehicle. The straps held up to driving but would come loose after a few hours.I ultimately purchased a pair of ratchet straps and used these as a secondary to make sure my stuff didn't fly off.

Great item for securing light items for a short trip, or when securing tool boxes with a broken clasp. Bundling tree branches prior to rope tying for recycling and securing tall prairie grass when cutting back in the spring. Beats having to tie and untie rope knots for small chores. Been using these types of lashing straps for years. Great price and good quality product.Cut to desired length and singe ends with flame to seal edge.

I loved these straps...until it rained. They soak up all the water like a wick and then it comes dripping into the car. If traveling in all sunny weather these are great... If not its horrible. Wish they were water proof coated so water could not be sucked in.

Use these for strapping stuff on my RV ladder. Just completed a 2500 km trip and they held great. No adjustments needed to keep the tension. Also easy to release and tighten. Great Product

They work as promised, seem fairly good quality, always room for improvement but am happy with my purchase.

Used it once so far tieing down my kayak and they seem to hold tight and not let loose

I am using this to secure Canoe for the wall. Works fine.
