Fiesta Toys Standing Hippo Hippopotamus Plush Stuffed Animal, 14", Gray

My granddaughter love's it.

A friend posted a delightful rendition of the song A Hippopotamus for Christmas. So I got one for her. I sent it to her parents' house because I thought she would be there on or about the holiday. She was. It was. The Amazon fulfillers sent it in a box without any indication who sent it (me). So it was quite a surprise. This is the picture she posted on FB wondering who sent it?

I bought this item thinking it was the actual NCIS Farting Hippo. When I left a less than perfect rating, to my surprise the vendor (Fiesta) actually took the time to call me to resolve the issue. That in itself deserves 5-Stars! Evidently, when you search for the NCIS Farting Hippo, the search engine Amazon uses will bring up anything with Fart or Hippo or any rendition associciated with it. The vendor also took the time to explain the history of the stuffed toy along with how the studio actually dubs in the sweet sound of flatulence! I never would have known if he did not take the time to call me. I have since removed my comments about being dissatisifed and unfortunately, Amazon does not have a feature to explain why the comments were removed. Amazon shipped this item and received within 72-hours of the order, spectacular experience and it was "as described". My oversight for not reading further into the description. I wish it had been the real thing and perhaps in time one will come along. The toy is high in quality and very huggable, something to be enjoyed by my grand-daughter for years to come!!!

My 2 year old loves hippos and loves this stuffy. It is a good size for him to snuggle with or use as a pillow. His name is Toots because my son loves potty humor almost as much as he loves hippos.

Soft ,leg tore 3 days after having it but my son loves it patched it up and he takes it everywhere…great buy

My son became obsessed with hippos after a recent trip to the zoo, so I ordered this for him for his birthday. He LOVES it. As other reviews mention, it is rather large, but that makes it fun for him to play with! It is also very soft so it joins the stuffed animal collection in his crib as well.

A dog tore up my son’s stuffed hippo and he was devastated. Luckily I found this one to replace it. He was thrilled. It is a very huggable size and oh so soft.

My son loves this hippo. The hippo goes with my son everywhere.If you know someone who likes hippos-this would be a great gift.It looks better and bigger in person, than in the photo.

No it was advertised as a farting hippo. When i did a google search. I was dismayed to find it was just a stuffed one. Its not wanted . And not given to the person whose xmas present it was .We have recently searched as ncis abbies farting hippo n it still comes to this item .Jane kelly

Toy itself is fantastic.Down side not as originally stated expecting it to be the hippo from NCIS, very disappointed that does not match description and now will have to purchase sound effects separately.
