if it converts 220 (European) to 110 why is the socket (where the product that needs conversion goes) american?

This converter plugs in the wall overseas where the voltage is 220v and converts it to 110V american voltage to enable you to use american products overseas. It has the american outlet so you can plug american electronics into the converter.

You need to Check the Power consumption of your tv. If its Not more than 200 Watts, you can use it.

Can I use it for a PS5?
