The Basics of Bioethics 3rd Edition

Rented this book. It’s pretty worn and written over but all pages are in tact and it’s easy to read.

Did not include tracking info which made me nervous. Book is in good condition but cover is a little messed up. But I need it for a class this semester and it will get the job done.

The book is concise, easy to follow, in plain language with helpful definitions. Case examples help the reader grasp the ethical concepts. I recommend it highly as an introductory text, and an up to date review. this 3rd edition covers recent challenges such as the ACA (Obamacare),RED MD MPH FACP

Ethics is often a confusing subject. However, this author is brilliant at being succinct in differentiating multiple theories and viewpoints. After seeing the layout in the book it seems so easy and makes one wonder how it could have been confused. Very good book, even as a supplement to other textbooks, in order to make theories of Ethics understandable.

Very instructive and easy to read. I bought this as a textbook for my Ethics course.

Loved this book for my bioethics course. It broke down most things I layman terms and wasn’t too boring to where I would drift off to sleep :)

Blablabla. Nothing exciting

So glad that I was able to rent this book instead of buy it! I will definitely put it to good use! Some of the pages were dog-eared, and the paperback cover is ripping, but no pages are missing. I'm satisfied.

Veatch lays out a structured approach to ethics with the help of useful graphics. While the book is divided into chapters on current topics each chapter also builds the reader analytical skills.
