Great value, great turntable.
I'm not having the same issues others have had. I don't mind returning the tone arm or turning the dial to off and back to the speed. Hasn't cut it out stopped working and I've used it for 6 or 7 hours straight at times. It's gorgeous. Easy to use. Has a headphone jack in the front. Sounds great and is a great value. You can upgrade the needle cartridge. Had a bar to raise and lower the needle for those who have shaky hands, like myself. It stops rotating after the needle has completely finished a side. The packaging is made of sustainable materials, as is the turntable. Anti-slip mat works well. Dust cover is snug but easy to put in place and remove.

Great product, warm sound, and great customer service!
Right when my order arrived and I saw the packaging, I already knew that I was in for a great product experience with the House of Marley Turntable. The packaging looked great and I immediately got the feeling of “good quality and design” versus “cheap”. And what was inside did not disappoint. The constuction is simple, beautiful and solid. There was nothing unecessary built into the design, yet everything that I expected from a good audio product was there. The sound exeperience gives you so much more than what you pay for, great value for money. The base sound is solid and the high frequency treble sounds are crisp. The sound is very, very warm. On top of all this, I had a really wonderful customer experience when I called product support to ask some questions about the product. Overall a great purchase, I would highly recommend this turntable for vinyl enthusiasts who want to level up without necesarily spending a ton of money.

stops playing at the end of some records in the middle of songs
Gah. This is so frustrating. I ordered this because it got all 4 and 5 star reviews on Amazon. It is really pretty and sounded pretty decent (I'm a newb). But, I was utterly dismayed to find that it just suddenly stops playing towards the end of certain records. In the middle of the song (this is after it's warmed up and been playing for a bit). I did some more digging and saw that other reviewers on other websites had the same problem. I called the company and the customer service was nice and helpful. I wanted to see if they had any recommendations. She suggested I exchange it, which I am willing to do. Amazon didn't give me that option, so I am returning it. I have already had an extremely disappointing and harrowing experience with the Audio Technica AT-LP60 Fully Automatic Stereo Turntable System, Silver (see link for my full review on that one at the bottom of this review), so I was SO READY for a record player that just works and actually sounds decent. Nope. Why am I having such bad luck with new record players? If this hadn't happened, I would have given this 4 stars. Not five because of the following reasons: *the arm doesn't automatically return back the times it does get through a full side of a record (you have to place it back in its holder from where it rests at the end of the record when done playing) *I had to switch it off and back on again to get it to play if it had been sitting for a while (it seems like if it's "on" already [set to 33 rpm instead of to 0], it should just start as soon as I pick up the needle arm. That's a lot more intuitive and a lot less annoying) *the player cover is black fabric and (IMHO) not pretty. I was hoping for a clear plastic cover like I had on the Audio-Technica. I was going to buy an after-market one until this record player started crapping out on me. *as others mentioned, the motor is indeed rather loud, but it didn't bother me too much Things I liked about it: *sounded pretty good (but honestly, not as good as the AT-LP60) *the wood finish is really nice *great packaging *feels really sturdy *adjustable weight seemed to work well *anti-skate adjustment took some tinkering (for me) but also worked well *easy as pie to set up *love the solid rubber feet it sat on My review of the AT-LP60 (I don't know how to hyperlink to reviews): https://www.amazon.com/review/R1CDVOKAOZZUP0/ref=pe_1098610_137716200_cm_rv_eml_rv0_rv

I love the look and sound of the turntable
I love the look and sound of the turntable. I mistakenly bought a crappy Crosley turntable and was appalled at the sound of it. I bought this, hoping it wasn't just my vinyls that sounded bad. It wasn't. I'm not an audiophile, but I am very impressed with this turntable. Everything about it feels sturdy and well-made. The configurable counterweight is nice. I got a scale for it and set it to the appropriate tracking force for the cartridge. The bass and treble response is good on this. I have it wired through an equalizer and crossover into several speaker cabinets and subwoofers, and I have never been more excited about music. One problem I had turned out to be easily fixed. One night, the records started playing really fast, like, chipmunk speed. I tried all kinds of things to fix it, but I finally had the idea to blow out the speed sensor with an air compressor before I was going to return it. There must have been some kind of dust in there blocking whatever signal that reads the speed of the platter, because it worked perfectly after that. Just wanted to mention that in case anyone else has that problem.

Good value
Have had top quality audiophile quality turntables through the years, but due to them finally dying beyond reasonable cost for repair I started looking for a low price alternative so I could continue playing my vinyl. After searching used vintage turntables and finding little that was a good value, I settled on ordering this. For the price it is a good table. The tonearm feels a bit cheap, but it does work well despite the feel.

very good turn table, impressive customer service
I love the turn table. It does not only look good it also works good. I did get the speaker as well and the sound is amazing. I wish it would start and stop with automatic arm movement. Something to think about for a later version. When my turntable started acting up after 8 month i got to experience their incredible customer service. They did provide a Fedex label to send it in. Within a week they did send out a new one. Unfortunately there seemed to be a mess up at Fedex and I did not receive it. They were very kind about it and did ask if they could send it to a different address like my office to make sure someone can receive it. They will send out another one. I really appreciate that kind of service and will like my turntable even more. Thanks house of Marley.

I bought this primarily to use the USB output to digitize my records. It does so easily, but also plays back superbly via the Line Output plugged into the AUX input of my PC speakers. The quality is easily as good as any Hi-Fi separates I have owned in the past. The build quality is superb, and it looks amazing too! All this for just over£100 - outstanding value.
