Age appropriate 6-9yrs
I’ve bought almost all of these books and our daughters love them.Pros: age appropriate, easy for 6-9 year olds to understand and read.So far no scary details or bias agendas.Color pictures.Organized layout & summary style paragraphs. The serious is new so hopefully they’ll become more inclusive of the arts and innovation. Kids get enough of boring history in school. So far this series seems to be simultaneously covering old history but also capturing the biographies of some fascinating people who are contributing to the future. Let’s inspire kids. What about:Mary BlairRetta ScottMaya AngelouKay RyanNeil de grasse TysonAlexander Graham BellEugenie ClarkSteven SpielbergVera WangEmily CallandrelliDiane KeatonMary CassattGeorgia O’KeefeNeil Patrick HarrisIdina MenzelKristin ChenowethEmily DickinsonDesmond RichardsonMaria TallchiefMartha GrahamTaylor SwiftDolly PartonAretha FranklinCarrie UnderwoodMary Lou RettonKristi YamaguchiScott HamiltonMichelle KwanLeBron JamesJoe MontanaJerry RiceElizabeth GilbertChelsea ClintonAbbey FleckShirley TempleGitanjali RaoGrace HopperMarie Van Brittan BrownSteve Jobs and Steve WozniakPeter TsaiFlynn McGarryAlton BrownMasaharu Morimoto

56 inches of dynamite
Simone Biles was only 56 inches tall, but every inch was puree dynamite when she was on the mats or bars. She won medals and sat international records and that took years of mental and physical effort. asometimes pain and anguish were her companions. The story of how she did what she did is told here in this book. Written by Rachelle Burk and beautifully illustrated by Steffi Walthall the book is an interesting and inspiring read for all ages, the young and the young at heart. I give the book ten stars. A hint to the reader, don't stop at page 46, keep going.

Simone Biles will inspire your young gymnast.
I’ve been waiting several weeks for my copy of The Story of Simone Biles to be available on Amazon. I’d read and enjoyed many of the books in this series: “A Biography book for new readers”. This book does not disappoint.I’m looking forward to gifting this excellent book to my grand niece. Buy this book and inspire your young female gymnast in your family.

Great book!
Arrived mint condition. Great book, inspiration for any kid or adult for that matter. I like that it touched on the sacrifices and choices along the way that Simone Biles made to work hard for her success. To be clear, this was for my 1st grader- i read it TO her, it wasn't purchased for her to read herself. Its a kid book but not for a 6 year old to read, I think she'd need another yr or 2 to tackle it herself.

Reading about real heroes!
I ordered this book for my great granddaughter. She is in gymnastics and I thought she would be interested in reading about Miss Biles. It turns out that she loved the book! She did very well with the read!
