Nothing new, similar info in many places
It has basically the same info as other publications, maybe a little more. It will be helpful to those having problems.

Inspiring and enlightening
I have had health issues for the past five years. I have cut dairy out of my diet, believing I was lactose intolerant. I have followed the Candida diet regimen three times. I switched to all organic foods and gave up a lot of foods. These things helped but never got to the root of the problem. Since following the steps in this book, I finally have relief and it has only been 3 months. Thank you, doctor Bob, for I finally have a regimen that works and will be a permanent life style change. I look forward to each day as I gain energy, strength, and my life back. The toughest challenge, now, is getting my family to to see the importance of this lifestyle change and them having the desire and perseverance to follow the steps and stick to it for life. Unfortunately, a lot of people enjoy the foods they grew up on and have a hard time giving them up. If only they could stick it out for a couple of months, they would soon realize that those foods do not really taste that good anymore. Thank you, again for the insight in your book and that I am finally free from pain and sleepless nights, that were caused by my eating habits and lack of nutrition.

Do yourself a favour and read this book!
This is my second purchase of this book - I wanted a copy of the updated version. The subject matter was a revelation to me when I first read it. I had issues which I discovered were hormonal, and did not like the treatment options outlined to me by my GP and gynaecologist. So armed with their diagnoses, I set out looking for a way to treat the problem, not the symptoms. I discovered this book. I appreciated the simplicity of the explanations in this book and now have a better understanding of how it all works together, nothing going on is in isolation to anything else, and hormones are so important!! I did not use this book alone, I saw a naturopath, homeopath and psychologist and feel like I am on the road to better health. I have since loaned it to friends who feel the same way. In particular, one is a dietician who was on medication for thyroid issues and in her words "medically trained and not open to the idea of natural remedies". She was astounded by the information she gained from this book. I live outside the US, so I do not access all the products/services described in the book, but I still feel that it is a valuable source of information for me. I'm not saying it is easy to do everything this book says and sometimes the subject is a bit confronting/uncomfortable, but I would still recommend it as essential reading!

Looks like I got the first rough draft...
The author completely loses his credibility with the amount of errors, typos, etc. in the book!Normally I don't even bother to write a review for the products I buy from amazon, but reading this book was so irritating that I just have to vent.It feels like a highschooler wrote this book! I'm not a grammar nazi, I don't mind an occasional typo here and there, and I even make them myself occasionally, but the amount of typos, errors, and omissions (e.g. an unfinished sentence) made this book extremely annoying to read!Aren't there editors that are supposed to read through the book before it's published, so they can catch the errors? Also, some parts are written okay, but others are in small choppy sentences that aren't even connected to each other. Or the author would say something like "Also, blah blah blah" and this "blah blah blah" part would have absolutely nothing to do with what he was saying before. And in general the information is very jumpy - he has chapters dedicated to each function (e.g. thyroid, adrenal glands, etc.) where he would fully describe this function and give you all the pertinent information, but then he would randomly give you little (but fairly important) facts about this function in other chapter, like the sentence was just taken out of one chapter and put into the other. Some of the information is not very well explained at all. For example, in pretty much every chapter he emphasizes how important it is to eat his ABCs (apples, beets & carrots), and he somewhat explains about the beets, but nowhere does he say why apples and carrots are so important (I mean, I know they're important, but why are they so much better than any other vegetable?)Another (minor) thing that was kind of annoying is the amount of plugs he inserts for his practice. At times, I felt like I was reading a very very long ad.Overall, the book feels like a rough draft that still needs to be edited and revised.

Wonderful!
I don't do too many reviews. I have to really love something (or hate something)usually to do a review. Dr. Bob does not spend chapters and chapters talking over the reader's head, he explains it in straight-forward terms. The wealth of information in this book is invaluable. It is so interesting to to learn about all of the different ways the body can be in or out of sync and what contributes to each condition. And for some reason, when I read this book I feel a sense of hope. I feel a sense of hope that my body knows how to fix itself if I treat it well. The book makes me feel like the power really is in my hands. It's not written as a motivational tool, but it definitely is. It's empowering and really hard to put down. Get it!

He makes a lot of good points in this book
He makes a lot of good points in this book. It helps to get an understanding of what is going on in the body. I would recommend anyone to read this book at least once. I wouldn't follow all the advice though bit extreme to do everything in the book.

Well explained and very informative
This book is a must for everyone interested in hormonal imbalances and how to solve them the natural way. I've got one objection, though. Although he recommends flaxseed oil, marine sources of Omega-3 oils (especially krill oil) have proven time and time again to be more bioavailable to the human body than flaxseed oil.Sara Bermejo (Spain)
