It works as advertised, however the corners were all damaged probably from Poor handling while being shipped.

Works well
Works as advertised. Even if the case rim is sticking out a little the case will still chamber and hand extract smoothly. If you’re a reloader (why else you buying this?) and cycle through the same brass over and over to the ? amount of times fired this will not catch split necks. Either have to catch it on the press or still hand/eye inspect each batch.

Don't proceed without it
Gage checks shell headspace. If the shell sticks out, the shell needs re-sizing. If the projectile sticks out the bottom, it is too long and projectile needs to be set further into the shell (should be set to C.O.L.).If round head sticks out of top, the round needs to be disassembled for re-sizing (excessive crimp can cause shell distorsion) and crimp needs to be reduced. This gage is a FUNDAMENTAL tool for reloading.

Works great, very useful to check case specs
Had several hundred reloads I needed to check for size. Some neck-sized only, some full-length sized. This made sorting that ammo a breeze. Now it will get used for checking ammo I intend to use in my matches. Bought one for 9mm too. While it would be nice to do 20+ rounds at a time, this still gets the job done and really helps instill confidence that the rounds will chamber easily.
