My Pekingese was loosing small tuffs of hair. She is 12 years old, and has never done that in mid winter at -20 f outside Alaska. Of course the house is constant +70 f inside. She goes out three times a day with me even at -40 f. So she gets a real thick coat in winter. Not this year. No downy undercoat at all. I thought it was old age. No it was not. While visiting our veteranarian about this she suggested using this product. I bought a box from the vet. First application got immedeate results! No hair tuffs around the house. No more scratching. No more complaining during brush time. This does have kind of a Vicks smell to it. But I don’t care, it works. I started my auto-resupplys on amazon. A little better priced than my vet is.

My vet recommended this product for my puppy’s flaky skin and it is amazing! I put it on the back of his neck and the next day I noticed significantly less dandruff than the previous day. It does have an strong odor, just be aware of that.

Very easy to apply. I have only use it once on my elderly dog but it seems to have been effective.
