Needed a communications cable and it did the job with no problems.

Scam, Counterfeit Product
Buyer beware. This product is counterfeit. It does not connect to the computer or device, and pulls an error code 10 in windows device manager. Reading the included manual, there is a whole page with a red text warning about potential counterfeit devices and if you get error code 10, you have one (supposedly).Stay away.

Better Than Expected!
My Nikon Total Station is more than 15 years. While working a short deadline case, Theodolite discontinued communication with my computer. Did all the steps to ensure proper software and hardware were met. Last hope was ordering a new cable. Expected difficulty with old equipment, but Amazon came to the rescue. Order the cable with fastest delivery. When it arrived, plug in and it work like a charm. Quality wire cable and workmanship. It was better than expected.
